Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac (eye) will return on Thursday night against the Wizards after a two-game absence due to a left eye corneal abrasion. Zubac has been excellent for Los Angeles this season, averaging 15.0 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocked shots per game while playing 31.5 minutes per game. He will be in a smash spot against the Wizards, who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. His return will most likely send Mo Bamba back to the bench, especially since Nicolas Batum (finger) has also been cleared to return after missing Wednesday's contest with the Celtics.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Nicolas Batum (finger) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. The Clippers are going to be extremely shorthanded for this contest with a handful of players sitting out. Batum hasn't played a huge role in the rotation, but he was likely going to see more action with Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Norman Powell (back) both out as well. Now, Amir Coffey and Terance Mann should see bigger roles in the rotation. Between the two, Coffey is the better streaming choice for Wednesday's slate.
Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Harden will now miss his third game of the season and the front end of this back-to-back set. Hopefully, Harden will be feeling good enough to suit up for Thursday's contest against the Washington Wizards. The Clippers are going to be extremely shorthanded for this game. That means, Kevin Porter Jr., Bones Hyland, and Terance Mann should all see bigger roles in the rotation. Between the three, Porter is the best and most consistent streaming choice of them.
Joey Linn of SI.comreports that Los Angeles Clippers guardKris Dunn(knee) won't play against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Dunn has been dealing with soreness in his left knee and will be out of action alongside Norman Powell(back),Kawhi Leonard(knee) andIvica Zubac(eye). James Harden (rest) is listed as questionable and may also miss the contest. With so many Clippers players sidelined, Terrance Mann andKevin Porter will likely see expanded roles on Wednesday.
Joey Linn of SI.comreports that Los Angeles Clippers guardNorman Powell(back) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the Boston Celtics. Powell will be out of the lineup for the first time since December 4th. It's likely he's not playing, so he is ready to suit up against Washington on Thursday. Clippers are dealing with a handful of injuries, so it's uncertain who would benefit the most from the loss of the 31-year-old. Terance Mann andKevin Porter Jr. could gain fantasy value with Powell sidelined.
