Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell (illness) will not be available for Sunday's game against Utah. An illness has taken Russell out of the lineup for the first time this season. The former All-Star has been leading the Lakers bench in recent weeks, averaging 12.1 points in 24.6 minutes. Gabe Vincent's and Max Christie's fantasy value will receive a boost on Sunday, with the former making his first start of the campaign. It's a dream fantasy matchup for Vincent against a squad that allows the most fantasy points in the league to the point guard position this season.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) has received the green light to play against Orlando on Friday. A sprained ankle gave him a questionable tag ahead of the contest, but Brooklyn has now upgraded Johnson to available. The 28-year-old has been in fine form this campaign, putting up a career-high 17.9 points with close to 42 percent shooting from three-point range. With Cam Thomas (hamstring) on the shelf, the Nets are going to need even more from Johnson on Friday night.

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (back) will re-enter the lineup Friday versus Orlando. He's been out for two games with a back issue, and the team initially listed him as questionable for the game. Claxton has been limited to 8.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in 24.5 minutes across 13 appearances this season. He's not a great option for managers on Friday because the Magic allow the second-fewest fantasy points in the league to opposing centers. Claxton managed only four points and five boards in this season's first head-to-head clash between the teams.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. Johnson injured his ankle during Monday's game, but was able to suit up on Wednesday without any issues. He looked fine during that game as he finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, and six assists across 30 minutes of action. If he sits, Jalen Wilson (calf) would likely see more minutes, but if both players are out then the Nets would likely give Ziaire Williams a bigger look.

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (back) appeared on the injury report yet again as he remains in injury management for his back. The defensive-minded big man has been on the report plenty to start out the year and has missed six games so far this season. He's also gone back and forth between starting and coming off of the bench as his back issue continues to be bothersome. Ziaire Williams and Trendon Watford would be solid streaming options if Claxton can't play, but Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) would be better if he's upgraded from questionable.
