Cameron Johnson Ruled Out For Wednesday Night Against Clippers

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Johnson had missed five straight games before returning Tuesday night when he put up 24 points against Portland. Given this is the second leg of a back-to-back for Brooklyn his absence shouldn't be surprising as the Nets monitor his ankle injury. In his absence expect D'Angelo Russell to pick up the volume from three.

Cameron Johnson Upgraded To Available On Tuesday

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) has been upgraded to available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Johnson will make his return to the court after missing each of the last five games due to a right ankle sprain. His return is a welcoming sight with Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) heading to the sideline on Tuesday. Johnson figures to return to his normal role in the rotation which is usually around 32 minutes. Before going down, Johnson posted back-to-back games with 20-plus points, so hopefully he didn't lose any momentum with the time off. Fantasy managers can get him back in their lineups on Tuesday.

Cameron Johnson Has A Chance To Return On Tuesday

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the Blazers. The 28-year-old has had the best season of his career in 2024-25. He also stayed relatively healthy until missing the last five games because of a sprained right ankle. The Nets are hurting entering Tuesday night, with D'Angelo Russell (shin), Ben Simmons (back, knee), and Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) all questionable in addition to Cam Thomas (hamstring) still sidelined. As a result, Ziaire Williams, Keon Johnson, Noah Clowney, and Tosan Evbuomwan could continue to benefit on the scoring end.
