Cameron Johnson Has High Asking Price

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson has been in trade rumors all offseason, but the team has failed to find a deal to move him because the Nets reportedly have high trade demands for Johnson. The 28-year-old has played out a couple of solid campaigns in Brooklyn, but he doesn't appear to fit the team's long-term plans. Last season, Johnson notched 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 27.6 minutes. Following Mikal Bridges' exit, Johnson could have a bigger part to play with the Nets if he remains with the team.

Cameron Johnson Won't Play Versus Philly

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (toe) won't play on Sunday against Philadelphia. The Nets have one game left on their schedule before calling it a year. However, Johnson won't be on the floor to close out the 2023-24 campaign, which isn't surprising to anyone. Along with Johnson, the Nets won't have Dorian Finney-Smith (knee) and Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) near the basket. As a result, Noah Clowney, Jalen Wilson, and Trendon Watford could remain heavily involved, especially since Nicolas Claxton might see fewer minutes than usual throughout a meaningless contest for Brooklyn.

Cameron Johnson Sidelined Versus The Knicks

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (toe) won't suit up for Friday's encounter with the New York Knicks. The former Sun has been in and out of the lineup over the last few games. However, his injury woes have been the norm all year, so he may not be on the floor for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign. Fortunately, Noah Clowney, coming off a 10-point, seven-block showing on Wednesday, will be a popular DFS option. Johnson's absence will also open the door for Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford to get involved enough to enter the DFS value conversation.
