According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Nets have acquired guard De'Anthony Melton (knee) from the Warriors in exchange for guard Dennis Schroder. Brooklyn will also receive three second-round draft picks. Melton signed with Golden State during the offseason. He played well, averaging 10.3 points and 1.2 steals. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old sustained a torn ACL and underwent season-ending surgery. Melton will be a free agent in the 2025 offseason, so it's unknown if he'll ever suit up for the Nets. But until he stays healthy, his fantasy outlook isn't promising, no matter where he ends up next season.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) is available for Wednesday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers. The former Phoenix Sun has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. However, his absence in Monday's loss to Chicago was only his first of the 2024-25 campaign. Johnson has also averaged a career-high 18.1 points while shooting 42.2% from deep. With Cam Thomas (hamstring) sidelined, Johnson should continue to get more scoring opportunities than usual against an Indiana team that has allowed 119.1 points per game this season, the third-worst mark in the National Basketball Association.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers due to a left ankle sprain. If Johnson is unable to suit up, Tyrese Martin could see an increased role and potentially draw another start. Johnson has been an important contributor for the Nets, averaging 18.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. In his most recent outing against Orlando, he delivered an impressive 26 points in 36 minutes. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his status, as a return would provide a significant boost to their lineups.

Brooklyn Nets forward Ziaire Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The 23-year-old will miss his second consecutive game after sustaining a knee injury during Sunday's matchup with the Magic. Williams has been a reliable rotational piece for the Nets this season, averaging 21.8 minutes and 8.6 points per game. Tyrese Martin may see an increase in playing time as a result. Williams' next opportunity to return will be Sunday against the Bucks.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell (illness) will rejoin the action on Monday against Minnesota and is set to start the game. Each of Russell's last 11 appearances has come off the bench, but he will fill in for Austin Reaves (pelvis) in the first unit on Monday. As a starter, Russell averaged 12.0 points, 5.8 assists, and 1.0 steals early in the season. He faces a tricky matchup on Monday, as the Timberwolves allow the eighth-fewest fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards.
