We are back for another exciting weekend of combat sports for UFC 266 in Las Vegas. There are a couple spots that I feel good about in the props market, but be sure to check out the rest of the FTN crew’s bets FTN Bets Tracker in case we add anything prior to fight night.
As always, I will give the bets that I have placed below based on where I see the most value in the betting odds and how I see each fight matchup playing out. Feel free to hit me up on Twitter or in the MMA betting Discord with any questions that you have leading up until fight night Saturday. Here is a look at my favorite betting props for this weekend’s UFC 266 betting card.
Chris Daukaus to win by KO/TKO in Round 1
+370, FanDuel Sportsbook
Daukaus is a power puncher with very fast hands for the heavyweight division. He has won all three of his UFC bouts by first-round knockout. Additionally, eight of his 11 career wins have all come by first-round knockout. He is going to have a big speed advantage over Shamil Abdurakhhimov who has been knocked out three times in his career including his most recent fight.
Merab Dvalishvili to win by KO or decision
-135, FanDuel Sportsbook
I was surprised to see this prop being so much better than his moneyline. For starters, Dvalishvili is typically more of a decision fighter, although a stoppage via ground and pound is certainly in play. His control time is not great and when he is on top, he typically is not looking to submit his opponents. He has just one submission victory in his career and that was an armbar on the regional scene. He is going to have a massive wrestling and cardio advantage in this matchup, and as long as Marlon Moraes does not knock him out early then I do not see a scenario that this does not cash outside of something very fluky.
Uros Medic/Jalin Turner fight does NOT start Round 3
+100, FanDuel Sportsbook
I played another prop on this fight as well for it not to start Round 2, because those odds are even better. Medic has seen the second round just once in his whole career and is very dangerous early in fights. On the flip side, Turner has reached the third round just once over his last eight fights. Both guys have power and are going to be active early in the fight. There are also durability and potential cardio concerns as well. I would be shocked if we see the third round here.
