Thursday’s MLB slate is small with only 10 games, but there are still plenty of props available on PrizePicks to find value in. I found 4 props that I believe are mispriced on PrizePicks so you can take advantage. But move fast — PrizePicks lines move with the action.

Let’s dive into the MLB board and let’s look at props on PrizePick with value today. Be sure to use PrizePicks promo code FTN for a $100 deposit match.

MLB PrizePicks Thursday 6/23

Kyle Freeland Over 89.5 Pitches Thrown

Kyle Freeland is making the start for the Rockies Thursday in Miami. Freeland, a left-handed pitcher, will be taking on a Miami lineup that has a .766 OPS at home, but a .616 OPS against lefties, and a .686 OPS during day games. Freeland has gone over this total in just two of his last four games, but the Marlins offense really struggles against lefties, giving Freeland the opportunity to pitch deeper into this ballgame. Freeland has pitched six or more innings in his last three starts, and I anticipate him having a solid outing and throwing 90 or more pitches in the day game.

Robbie Ray Over 6.5 Strikeouts

Robbie Ray will make the start for the Mariners Thursday afternoon in Oakland. Ray has a 9.67 K/9 this season and went over this total in his last start. He faced the Athletics May 25 and recorded 10 strikeouts in six innings in a loss. The Athletics lineup has the second-most strikeouts in day games in baseball and the eighth-most strikeouts against left handed pitching this season. I expect Ray to have another lights-out performance against the A’s, and he should certainly hit seven or more strikeouts.

SEA/OAK Under 0.5 Runs in First Inning

The Athletics and the Mariners both have their aces going in this matchup, and both of their offenses are in the bottom half of baseball, so I expect no runs in the first inning for this game. Frankie Montas has allowed just five first-inning runs in 15 starts this season for the A’s, and Ray has allowed just two in 14 starts this year for Seattle. The Mariners have scored 38 first-inning runs this season, and the A’s have scored 35, but due to the quality of the starting pitchers, I do not see either team crossing home plate in the first.

NYY/HOU Under 0.5 Runs in First Inning

The Yankees and the Astros have one of the biggest rivalries in baseball over the past couple of seasons, and they square off for the first time in 2022 in prime time Thursday. Jameson Taillon will make the start for the Yankees against Framber Valdez for the Astros. While both these teams are normally touted for their offenses, the Yankees and Astros pitching staffs have really carried them this season. Valdez has allowed a first-inning run in just two of his 13 starts, Taillon in just three of 13. Both teams are in the top half of MLB in runs scored this season, but I think these pitchers will shine in the first inning of this game.

Find More MLB Player Props on PrizePicks

Player props have become one of the hottest markets in baseball, and PrizePicks offers the perfect balance for daily fantasy players to get in on the MLB player prop action for real money.

Users can select up to five props to combine into a parlay and users can select whether they want the selection to be a “power play” or a “flex play.”

A “power play” means all selections in the PrizePicks pick need to hit and there is a multiplier for the number of events involved. Here’s the “power play” breakdown:

  • Pick 2, and if you get them both right, you win 3x your entry fee
  • Pick 3, and if you get them all right win 5x your entry fee
  • Pick 4, and if you get them all right win 10x your entry fee

Here’s the “flex play” breakdown:

  • Pick 5 players: Go 5-of-5 to win 10x, go 4-of-5 to win 2x, or go 3-of-5 to win 0.4x
  • Pick 4 players: Go 4-of-4 to win 5x, go 3-of-4 to win 1.5x
  • Pick 3 players: Go 3-of-3 to win 2.25x, go 2-of-3 to win 1.25x
  • Pick 2 players: Go 2-of-2 to win 2x, go 1-of-2 to win 0.5x

In MLB, PrizePicks offers props like NRFI/YRFI, fantasy score, hits/RBIs, strikeouts, pitching outs, and more. This wide variety of different prop markets makes PrizePicks exciting and also exploitable.

Keep in mind that PrizePicks is not like a traditional sportsbook that has different pricing for each prop. On PrizePicks, the line you see is the line you get, and you must parlay at least two picks to lock in your fantasy plays.
