Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene is resting for Game 1 of a doubleheader at Coors Field on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies. Zach McKinstry will join the lineup in left field and will bat in the three-hole against Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland. Fantasy managers should expect Greene to return in the second game of the twin bill. The 24-year-old left-handed-hitting-outfielder has been swinging a hot bat recently for Detroit, going 13-for-32 (.406) with four home runs, eight RBI and eight runs scored in eight games since April 28 to raise his season slash line to .266/.315/.475 in 139 at-bats. McKinstry is in a lefty-lefty matchup, which usually isn't a good thing, but he's had reverse splits so far in 2025 and has gone 12-for-33 (.364) with three RBI against southpaws this year. Treat him as a DFS sleeper at Coors Field in a prime lineup spot on Thursday.

Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 9-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Greene crushed a solo shot off Angels closer Kenley Jansen in the top of the ninth inning to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead. The 24-year-old got another at-bat in the ninth frame and crushed a two-run shot off Jake Elder for his second home run of the game. Greene became the 62nd player to homer twice in one inning. He made history, becoming the first player to ever hit two long balls in the ninth. Greene has now homered four times over his last five games. Overall, he is slashing .276/.324/.504 with eight home runs, 20 RBI, and 19 runs across 136 plate appearances. Greene should be in all fantasy lineups while he continues to wield a hot bat.

Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene turned in a big game in an 8-5 loss to the Houston Astros on Monday. Greene went 2-for-4 with two homers and three RBI but it wasn't enough to overpower the Astros. The veteran outfielder hit a solo shot in the fourth inning and came back with a two-run homer in the eighth. Greene is now hitting .234 with six homers, 14 runs, and 16 RBI across 111 at-bats this season. He now has three homers and eight RBI over his past seven games.
