Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (leg) pulled up in clear pain after a one-out double to the left-field corner in Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals and was pulled from the contest. Robert was favoring his right leg after rounding first base in the ninth inning. Although we don't know the specifics of the injury just yet, it didn't look good for a player with a lengthy history of injuries. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if this ends up being an injured-list situation for Robert. He went 1-for-4 with the double in the eventual 2-1 loss. With Eloy Jimenez (groin) landing on the IL on Friday, the struggling White Sox could be down two of their best hitters for the foreseeable future. Robbie Grossman was called up from the minors on Friday, and veteran Kevin Pillar could be the next to benefit from extra playing time, depending on the severity of Robert's injury.UPDATE: Manager Pedro Grifol said after the game that Robert is dealing with a right hip-flexor injury.

Chicago White Sox relief pitcherJohn Brebbia(calf) exited early in the sixth inning of the White Sox 2-1 loss against the Kansas City Royals. Brebbia tweaked his calf fielding a ball and was removed shortly after. The 33-year-old injured his calf during spring training. Brebbia had gotten off to a great start with the White Sox, giving up just one hit in four appearances, and had yet to give up a run. There's no word on whether the right-hander will need to miss any time, and he should be considered day-to-day. Brebbia has been used in high-leverage situations and, even when healthy, is mainly an option in leagues that reward saves and holds.

Toronto Blue Jays left-handerYusei Kikuchistruck out seven in 5 1/3 innings in Friday's shutout win against the New York Yankees. Though Kikuchi did not give up a run in his outing,Yimi Garciawas credited with the win, with the Blue Jays getting their first run in the 7th inning. It was a good bounceback for Kikuchi after a decent but iffy start against Tampa Bay. The lefty lowered his ERA to 2.79 with a 1.55 WHIP. He'll look to improve even more on those numbers in his next start at home against the Seattle Mariners.

Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitterShohei Ohtaniblasted his second home run of the year in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Ohtani went 2-5 with two RBI and two runs, adding a double to go along with his two-run shot, with both hits coming off Cubs starterKyle Hendricks. The 29-year-old continues to warm up in the Dodgers lineup, now hitting .286 with a .850 OPS over 10 games. He'll have a tougher matchup vs Cubs lefty Jordan Wickson Saturday before facing off against fellow Japanese starShota Imanagaon Sunday.

Colorado Rockies third basemanRyan McMahonhit a walk-off grand slam against the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday, leading the Rockies to a 10-6 victory in their home opener. McMahon had a considerable day overall, going 3-5 with a double and a single, in addition to hitting the game-winning grand slam. The 29-year-old has been one of the few bright spots for the Rockies this season, now hitting .414 (12-for-29) with a 1.057 OPS over eight games. The lefty slugger has recorded a hit in seven of the Rockies' eight games this season, marking an improvement from past seasons when he was generally a .240 hitter. McMahon will look to continue his hot streak with his next five games being played at Coors Field.
