Jackson Holliday Out Against Southpaw

Baltimore Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday (rest) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Holliday got off to a slow start to the year, but the young slugger has been hitting better as of late. Holliday has recorded six hits over his last six games, which includes a four-game hit streak that he'll carry into Sunday's contest. In his absence, Jorge Mateo will cover second base and bat ninth versus left-hander Kris Bubic. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for streaming help as Mateo won't be a great option against Bubic who has pitched well this season.

Noelvi Marte Sitting Out On Saturday

Cincinnati Reds shortstop Noelvi Marte (rest) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals. Marte was on fire at the plate for about a week where he hit nearly .500 at the plate. Now, Marte is beginning to slow down with the bat and only has two hits over his last four games. That being said, Marte will get the night off on Saturday and will likely be back in the lineup on Sunday. As a result, Santiago Espinal will start at third base and bat eighth versus right-hander Trevor Williams on Saturday.

Gleyber Torres Returning On Saturday

Detroit Tigers second baseman Gleyber Torres (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Torres made an early exit on Thursday due to a hamstring issue and as a result he sat out on Friday. Now, Torres is back and will cover second base and bat third versus right-hander Kyle Hendricks on Saturday. Torres has been crushing the ball this season with a .300/.360/.475 slash line and four home runs with 15 RBI heading into Saturday's contest. Fantasy managers should make sure to get Torres back in their lineups.

Matt Chapman Crushes Grand Slam In Win

San Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman came up clutch for his team during Saturday's game versus the Colorado Rockies. Chapman was quiet at the plate until he came up in the sixth inning with the bases loaded. The right-handed slugger blasted a 402-foot shot off righty Jake Bird to give his team the lead. The veteran slugger has two homers and five RBI over his last two games. Chapman probably wishes that he could play the Rockies forever, but sadly that is over for now. He has an ugly slash line, but his seven homers and 21 RBI does make up for it.

Kevin Gausman Looks Excellent In No-Decision

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman had seemingly no issues on the mound during Saturday's start against the Cleveland Guardians. The right-hander gave up one hit and a walk, but was basically perfect outside of that. Gausman tossed six scoreless innings while striking out nine batters in what ended up being a no-decision. Well, Gausman certainly earned the win in this one, but sadly his bullpen blew it for him in the final innings. It is unfortunate for him, but fantasy managers will still take a strong outing by Gausman. He'll take a 3.83 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 37/12 K/BB ratio into his next start versus the Seattle Mariners.
