Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero (back) returned to the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon. Caminero was placed in the three-hole and covered the hot corner. The budding star exited Thursday's contest early due to back tightness but was cleared to return just days after the injury. This suggests the injury was not serious and the team held him out of action out of precaution. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status in case he faces a setback. Last season, the 21-year-old logged a career-high 43 games in the majors. He held a .248/.299/.424 slash line with nine doubles and six long balls. In 53 games at Triple-A, Caminero went deep 13 times and held a .276/.331/.498 slash line. He is expected to be the team's everyday third baseman in the regular season.

Cincinnati Reds corner infielder Jeimer Candelario (tooth) is back in the team's Cactus League lineup on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels, serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup. Candelario will return to the diamond to close out the week after having a wisdom tooth removed earlier in the week. It was never anything that was going to keep the 31-year-old veteran out for too long. Candelario will serve as the DH against the Halos, but he should see most of his playing time in 2025 between third and first base for the Reds. The switch-hitting infielder battled injuries in his first year in Cincinnati in 2024, including a fractured big left toe in August that ended his season early. He disappointed by hitting .225/.279/.429, but he did hit 20 home runs in 112 games played. At a discounted price, Candelario isn't a bad late-round corner infield target for his power.

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (shoulders) is set to make his spring debut on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins. The 28-year-old has been built up slowly during camp due to his shoulder issues last season. However, the three-time All-star is on the verge of his spring debut. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status on defense as the team may opt to have him serve as the designated hitter during the early part of the season. Last season, the 28-year-old appeared in 138 contests and posted a .272/.354/.516 slash line with 34 doubles and 28 home runs. He generated an elite .364 xWOBA and .509 xSLG which placed him in the 92nd and 94th percentile respectively. He will likely see most of his starts at the hot corner or as a designated hitter when he is healthy.

Baltimore Orioles right-handed pitcher Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) received a cortisone shot and will be shut down for seven to 10 days. After this period, he will begin a throwing program. The 25-year-old has been dealing with elbow inflammation and will not be available for Opening Day. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status, as his timetable has not been defined. If he continues to make progress without facing setbacks, he may only miss a brief period of the season. Last summer, the 25-year-old logged 116 2/3 innings in the majors and held a 3.86 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP. He tallied 130 punchouts and held a strong 7.3 percent walk rate. When he is cleared to return, he will have a spot in the starting rotation and carry solid strikeout upside while pitching on a competing Baltimore team.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Tyler O'Neill (ribs) returned to the starting nine on Sunday afternoon. O'Neill was batting cleanup and covered left field. The 29-year-old was kept out of action over the past few days due to a minor rib injury. However, seeing him return to the lineup quickly suggests the injury was not serious. Earlier in the offseason, O'Neill inked a three-year $49.5 million contract with the Orioles. Last season, O'Neill enjoyed a strong bounce-back campaign in Boston, launching 31 home runs with 18 home runs. Across 113 contests, O'Neill held a .241/.336/.511 slash line and added 61 RBI. Under the hood, he generated an elite 17.3 percent barrel rate with a 48.8 percent hard-hit rate. Fantasy managers should expect the 29-year-old to have an everyday role in left field and is a great target late in drafts when looking for power.
