Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak blasted two decisive home runs in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Mariners. The first was a game-tying two-run shot in the seventh that chased M's starter Bryan Woo from the game, and the second came in the bottom of the ninth with two outs off of closer Andres Munoz which delivered a walk-off win for the Halos. It was the fourth consecutive game in which Moniak has recorded multiple hits, going 8-for-14 (.571) with four home runs, seven RBI, and four runs scored over that stretch. The former first-overall draft pick will look to finish strong after having his best month of the season by far, slashing .359/.397/.719 in August.

Houston Astros starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi twirled a gem in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Royals, going seven strong innings, allowing just one run on five hits and no walks while striking out 12. The 33-year-old improved to 3-0 with the Astros over six starts, posting a 2.57 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and a 26.6% K-BB% since he was acquired. The season-long numbers don't look nearly as good, with a 4.24 ERA (3.47 FIP), 1.25 WHIP, and a 21.5% K-BB%. The southpaw's next start lines up with the Arizona Diamondbacks next weekend at home.

Oakland Athletics outfielder Lawrence Butler went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers, with both hits for the left-handed hitter coming against Cody Bradford, the left-handed starter for the Rangers. Butler has been on a tear lately, now with a 10-game hit streak and 10 consecutive games in which he's scored at least one run. Over this stretch, the 24-year-old is 16-for-41 (.390) with three doubles, seven home runs, 13 RBI, 13 runs scored, two stolen bases, and a 2:2 BB:K. For the season, the former sixth-round draft pick owns a .257-20-53-52-12 line with a .350 wOBA and a 133 wRC+ in 102 games. He'll look to finish the season strong and has certainly increased his fantasy draft stock for next season.

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler threw seven shutout innings in Saturday's 3-0 victory over the Braves, allowing just four hits and no walks while striking out seven batters on the way to earning his 13th win of the season. It was the sixth straight quality start, giving him 21 on the season and tying him with the Mariners' Logan Gilbert for the most quality starts in all of baseball. The former first-round draft pick is having a Cy Young-caliber season, posting a 2.63 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 20.8% K-BB% over 27 starts. The 34-year-old gets a favorable start in his next matchup which will be with the Marlins on the road next weekend.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, a walk, two runs scored, and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Reds. The home run came in the top of the ninth of a tie ballgame and would prove to be the eventual game-winner. After a sluggish start to his major league career, finishing May with a .210/.254/.327 slashline, the 20-year-old phenom has gone on to slash .318/.367/.536 since June 1. The young Venezuelan now owns a .277-17-66-63-20 line with a .336 wOBA and 115 wRC+ on the year and is looking every bit the superstar the Brewers expected him to be when they signed him to an 8-year $82 million contract before ever playing a single major league game. He will be very pricey in next year's fantasy drafts.
