So, they turn the ball to innings-eater Chris Flexen — but caveats abound. He’s whiffed under 20% of batters this season, and he’s whiffed five batters or less in 20 of his 30 starts.
Jonathan Schoop to hit a home run

Standing in at the dish tonight, Jonathan Schoop could be in line to pop one deep against the Rangers. Jordan Lyles has been absolutely torched by the long ball this year, allowing 1.98 HR/9, and same-sided bats have given him a ton of trouble. On the season, they’ve gotten the better of him, smacking him around for a .525 slugging percentage.
