MLB Prop Bet of the Day

Walker Buehler UNDER 6.5 strikeouts vs. San Francisco (-110, BetMGM

When it comes to contentious baseball rivalries, Yankees/Red Sox usually tops the list. However, Dodgers/Giants clashes are equally heated, if not moreso. You can cut the intensity hanging in the air with a knife. With surprising San Francisco up 3.5 games on their arch nemesis, every mano-y-mano battle is critical. Walker Buehler vs. Kevin Gausman should prove to be a dandy. Though the home hurler has performed well this season, his slight velocity decrease likely explains the reduction in swinging strike percentage. As a result, he’s shaved 1.56 off his K/9 from a season ago. He’s also recorded six or fewer strikeouts in eight of 15 starts, including a three K effort against the Giants over six innings May 28. San Francisco, making better and more consistent contact over the last month (No. 16 in K%), should again have Buehler believers feeling blue.
