Best MLB Bets Today - Free (Tuesday 9/3)

Tuesday night brings us yet another loaded MLB slate featuring 13 games. I’ve found a spot in Texas for us to target for a favorable betting opportunity.

The Yankees and Rangers play the second of a three-game series in Arlington Tuesday. I’ll be looking to back the Yankees’ dynamic left-hander Jazz Chisholm Jr. Since being traded to New York, Chisholm has made an immediate impact on the lineup and has raised his play to new levels. In 101 games with Marlins this season, Chisholm averaged only .249 at the plate with 50 RBIs, 13 home runs and 107 strikeouts. Over 24 games since being traded to the Yankees, Chisholm has a .333 AVG, 9 home runs and a 1.040 OPS.

He has brought his best to the bright lights in New York, which bodes well for a Yankees team hoping to make a deep run into the MLB postseason. I feel the lineup protection has contributed to Chisholm’s recent success. He went from primarily hitting leadoff for the Marlins to now being slotted in the 5 spot daily for the Yankees. This has presented Chisholm with more high-leverage at-bats hitting behind the likes of Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton. The RBI opportunities will continue to come at a premium in this lineup and Chisholm has been consistently contributing since putting on the pinstripes.
