Welcome to another edition of Friday’s MLB best bets. Here, we’ll take a look into the first game of a weekend set between the Tampa Bay Rays and Seattle Mariners, taking place in T-Mobile Park.

The Rays hit the road still holding the best record in baseball and fresh off of a series win against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Mariners on the other hand continue to be inconsistent this season and have lost three consecutive series entering this one.
Bryce Miller will take the mound for Seattle. He comes in with a 5.49 ERA in June and has allowed at least 3 earned runs or more in three of his last five starts.

Tampa also is top 10 in walks drawn vs. RHP and the young Miller has allowed 2 or more free passes in three of his last four starts. Though the rookie Bryce Miller has been good for Seattle, the Rays are just simply better in this spot. Tampa is third in the MLB in first-five-inning scoring, averaging 3.46 runs per first five.
