College Football Props of the Week: Week 12

Week 12 of the college football season is here, and there are several interesting props, but there are two in particular that I’m going to focus on here. We have enough data and are dialed in when it comes to DVP spots at this stage of the season. Let’s get to the window this week.

Caden Durham (LSU) 60+ Rushing Yards

(+110, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Durham is a big play for us in DFS and on the prop market as his matchup with Florida is extremely favorable. The Gators are giving up over 160 YPG on the ground to their opponents and with Durham operating as the Tigers’ RB1, this is a number he should easily eclipse.

He has rushed for more than 60 yards in four of the eight games he has played thus far while maintaining a 5.8 YPC. LSU has a high-powered offense and can get it done through the air but I’m expecting a fairly large workload for Durham and will also sprinkle a bit on 100-plus rushing yards at +550.

Ja’Corey Brooks 100+ Receiving Yards

(+135, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Louisville Cardinals are facing off against the Cardinal of Stanford this week, which is a game where defense is optional. Stanford has gotten torched in the secondary all season long and now they have to deal with one of the best receivers in the ACC.

Ja’Corey Brooks has been targeted a team-high 71 times and caught 48 of those passes for 841 yards/8 TDs. There is no doubt about his alpha status in this receiver room and he has crossed the century mark 4 separate times this season. He has no fewer than 7 targets since Week 7 and has averaged over 15 yards per catch during that span. I expect nothing less than total destruction from Brooks in this spot.
