The RBC Canadian Open heads back to Hamilton Golf & Country Club for the first time since 2019 when Rory McIlroy ran away from the field en route to a seven-shot win.
With such a long break since seeing Hamilton, we don’t have much course history to lean on but there is still a good picture on the course fit, even after a course restoration. Hamilton lets golfers club down a bit off the tee and then rewards good wedge play and mid-iron play. The restoration should make around-the-green play interesting as there are a lot of run-offs that will deter errant approach shots.
Some early week rain has softened the course to start the week, but that’s been the norm all year.
Now let’s get into the fun stuff, my favorite DFS targets.
