The Carolina Panthers signed Haason Reddick to a one-year deal worth up to $8 million Wednesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Haason Reddick signs with Carolina
After toiling as an off-ball linebacker to start his career, Reddick came into his own on the edge last season, accumulating 63 tackles, 12.5 sacks and six forced fumbles. Reddick's presence should bolster what was a subpar Panthers pass rush.
Fantasy slant: Reddick is coming off a career-high 12.5 sacks in 2020. The Panthers pray he will inject life into their paltry pass rush. Last season, Carolina ranked 21st in pressure rate (22.4%) and 23rd in sacks (29). Matt Rhule and company are crossing their fingers Reddick, and the former first-round pick tandem of Brian Burns and Derrick Brown can bring the heat in 2021. – Derek Brown
