Below you’ll see a link of today’s episode of Dangle Bet Celly where we discussed both games, highlighted some of the surprises in the NHL and talked about the best Fantasy Hockey pickups and who to drop.

The Best NHL Props Bets
Evan Rodrigues Point
(+110, BetMGM)
Evan Rodrigues was demoted to the third line when Sam Bennett returned last week, but he’s back inside the top six with the injury to Aleksander Barkov. Rodrigues will skate on the second line with Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk. The winger has 13 points in 17 games this season and is in a good spot to add to those totals with a matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. The goal total for the game between the Oilers and Panthers is at 7, and I lean over. The Oilers coughed up six goals in their last game, so they plan on turning to Calvin Pickard. The former second-round pick from 2010 has a .903 SV% and 3.04 GAA over 116 NHL games. I suppose he can’t be much worse than Stuart Skinner, as Edmonton ranks 29th in 5v5% (89%). Their 2.95 GA/60 at 5v5 is also in the top 10 in the league.
Bonus
- Brandon Montour Point (-135, DraftKings)
- Evan Bouchard O 2.5 SOG (+105, DraftKings)
- Evan Bouchard Point (-125, DraftKings)
- Sam Bennett O 2.5 SOG (-115, DraftKings)
- Sam Bennett Point (+105, DraftKings)
- Evander Kane O 3.5 SOG (+130, DraftKings)
Anze Kopitar Assist
(+150, Bet365)
Anze Kopitar has fantastic odds for an assist and decent odds for a point (-145), considering he has 16 points in as many games. The veteran has racked up at least one point in nine of his past 11 games. In fact, he’s hit the score sheet in 13 of his 16 games. He has three assists over his last five games, and his winger Adrian Kempe is on a heater (goals in six of his last seven). The Kings are a perfect 7-0 on the road this season and have outscored their opponents 34-12 over that span. They’ve already beat Arizona twice this season and scored 11 goals in those two games. Kempe had three assists, four points and 10 shots in those two games against Arizona.
Bonus
- Anze Kopitar Point (-145, DraftKings)
- Adrian Kempe Assist (+160, Bet365)
- Quinton Byfield Point (+105, DraftKings)
Brock Boeser O 2.5 SOG
(-125, BetRivers)
A lot of the Vancouver Canucks NHL props are juiced tonight because they have a matchup with the San Jose Sharks, but that won’t stop me from taking a couple. Brock Boeser has a ridiculous 13 goals and 21 points in 18 games this season. He scored twice on three shots in a 10-1 thumping in San Jose earlier this season. The Sharks have played a touch better of late, but they’re still first in shot attempts, shots, scoring chances, high-danger chances and goals allowed at 5v5/60. Boeser is averaging 3.25 shots per game at home compared to 2.3 on the road. The 26% shooting rate is not sustainable, but the attempts are.
Bonus
- J.T. Miller O 2.5 SOG (-114, BetRivers)
- J.T. Miller O 1.5 PTS (+145, DraftKings)
- Elias Pettersson O 1.5 PTS (+134, DraftKings)
- Andrei Kuzmenko Point (-145, DraftKings)
- Miller 3 SOG, Hughes 3 SOG, Pettersson 3 SOG, Boeser 3 SOG (+700, Bet365)
