The NBA has a decent slate for a Sunday during the NFL playoffs. Two games tip off early, and then we have four more in the main window later in the day. The list of stars who are questionable or out is rather large, and because of that many of the props are slow to be released.
Make sure to check out the NBA Bet Tracker throughout the day, as our analysts will add their favorite prop bets as they get released. Here are my three NBA Best Bets in the points prop market.
Best NBA Point Prop Bet(s)
CJ McCollum UNDER 24.5 points
This number is already dropping below this at 23.5 for -110 at most other books. The Heat are a solid defensive team, so this is no easy game for CJ McCollum and the Pelicans. His number is inflated because of the injuries to other scorers like Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. He has gone over this only once in his last four games, including missing this mark the last time he faced Miami. New Orleans projects below seasonal averages as well today, so none of the arrows are pointing up.
Andrew Wiggins OVER 14.5 points
Andrew Wiggins missed about a month of the season and came back six games ago. He started at 19-20 minutes and worked up to 30 before ultimately playing 40 minutes in his last game out. That was what I was looking for from him. Wiggins is not back to playing his normal allotment of minutes. He averages 18 points per game on the season, so I want to hop on this point total now as it remains low and his minutes are on the rise.
Nic Claxton OVER 14.5 points
Nic Clayton now has five straight games of 15-20 points. He has averaged over 33 minutes per game and 16 points since Kevin Durant went down with an injury. Golden State is not one of the better defensive teams in the league. This is a solid spot for a guy whose props have not caught up with his production.
