One of the top wide receivers on the free agent market has a new home, as ex-Texans WR Will Fuller is heading to Miami on a one-year deal, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
#Texans speedy FA WR Will Fuller is signing a 1-year deal with the #Dolphins, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. A big-time deep threat.

The 26-year-old Fuller spent the first five years of his career with Houston after being drafted 21st overall in 2016. He was on his way to a career year in 2020 before a late-season suspension cost him the last five games (and will cost him the first game of 2021). He ended the season with 879 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns.
Dolphins land big-name receiver in Will Fuller signing
Fantasy slant: This is a great signing for the Dolphins, who need a true separator for Tua Tagovailoa. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, DeVante Parker tied for the lowest average separation in football a season ago and we saw Tua struggle when receivers weren't running free. Fuller will help that and simply makes quarterbacks better, as Deshaun Watson's numbers have always been better with Fuller in the lineup. Tua will enjoy having en elite deep threat, as he ranked 29th among all passers in adjusted completion percentage on deep passes in his rookie year (44.8%). The 26-year-old speedster enjoyed a career year in 2020, despite playing in just 11 games. He won't be as good in fantasy in Miami but is still a high-upside player worthy of selecting in the middle rounds of drafts. Just remember he'll be suspended for the first game of the season. — Adam Pfeifer
