Week 13 NFL Player Props of the Week

We’re back again with our favorite player props of the week. As we gear up for the Sunday action of Week 13, I’ve got some bets I’m eying.

Here are some of my favorite individual player props for Week 13.

Garrett Wilson o58.5 Rec Yards

I’ve been deciding what Jets receiver to target all week, but I think I have to fall in line with the consensus and take Garrett Wilson. While Zach Wilson made this offense almost unplayable for a majority of the season, we now have Magic Mike White in to take the reins. White looked solid in his first outing last week going against a subpar Bears defense in rainy conditions. While Patrick Peterson is actually having a good comeback season, he is really the only one contributing in a very weak Minnesota secondary. This week, they will have to slow down a combination of Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis and Elijah Moore. This Jets rushing attack hasn’t been great since Breece Hall went down, and now without Michael Carter they will have to rely on Zonovan Knight with James Robinson a healthy scratch last week. 

While Corey Davis did seem to have a solid relationship with Zach Wilson, he struggled in his return going 1-9 on just three targets. Garrett Wilson actually ran more routes than Davis and Moore last week and posted a 29% target share with White last week, and he has averaged 77.4 receiving yards in his non-Zach Wilson games this season. The Vikings offense should force the Jets to put up more than their normal seven points per game. Now that they have a somewhat competent quarterback, I expect Garrett Wilson to start putting up some crazy numbers.

George Pickens o19.5 Longest Reception

Betting on multiple catches from any Steelers pass-catcher can be a scary proposition. Luckily, George Pickens only has to grab us one right here. Pickens has made highlight catch after highlight catch so far in his rookie season, and I expect him to continue to show off those amazing ball skills in a great matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who are one of the worst defenses in football. 

You can beat the Falcons both through the air and on the ground, making it a bit harder to choose who to target on a week-to-week basis. The good news here is that Najee Harris will miss this game, and rookie Jaylen Warren has also been questionable all week. That means we are likely to see a heavy dose of Benny Snell on the ground. While he had some success last week, I think we have enough historical evidence that Snell is nothing to worry about. This should be a more pass-heavy script.

Additionally, Pickens isn’t just one of the best deep threats in the rookie class, he’s one of the best in the NFL. He is currently fifth in average depth of target (15.1) and sixth in deep-ball targets (19). Without Chase Claypool, this team has literally gotten zero production from Steven Sims and Gunner Olszewski in the slot. It’s just Pickens and Diontae Johnson running those deep routes. I expect the Steelers and Pickett to take advantage this week against Atlanta.
