Treylon Burks Out For The Year After ACL Surgery

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) had surgery on his torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Burks has been a bust for the Titans since they selected him 18th overall in 2022 out of Arkansas. The 24-year-old has played in only 27 games (17 starts) in his first three seasons in the NFL and has caught 53 passes on 92 targets for 699 yards and only one touchdown. He had been on Injured Reserve since Oct. 19. Burks wasn't exactly dealing with a full tear of his ACL, so perhaps he will be in play to start the 2025 regular season on time for the Titans. In just five games played in 2024 before his injury, Burks was well off the fantasy radar and had just four receptions for 34 yards and no touchdowns on eight targets. The Titans will continue to use Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd in three-wide sets.

Calvin Ridley Held Under 50 Yards In Week 13 Loss

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley had just two catches for 45 yards on Sunday afternoon against the Washington Commanders. He was targeted seven times by Will Levis, who finished with a season-high 37 pass attempts. The Titans struggled to get much going overall on offense, but Ridley did make a nice sliding catch to set up their first touchdown just before halftime. However, it was a disappointing result for Ridley and the Titans this week, but they'll be in a good spot to bounce back at home against the Jaguars next week. Ridley remains the team's top option in the passing game and has drawn a huge target share since the DeAndre Hopkins trade. For Week 14, Ridley is a WR2 with WR1 upside.

Chig Okonkwo Targeted Six Times In Week 13 Loss

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo had three catches for 27 yards on a season-high six targets in Week 13's ugly 42-19 loss to the Washington Commanders. Okonkwo had an impressive 70-yard touchdown catch last week in a critical spot in the Titans' road win over the Texans. This week, he didn't break any big plays like that but was more involved, matching his target total from the previous three weeks combined. The Titans were forced to throw the ball more based on the game script, but Okonkwo's increased involvement is a great sign for him coming down the stretch. He has tasty matchups for tight ends against the Jaguars, Bengals, and Colts over the next three weeks. He's a TE2 but has upside in those favorable matchups due to his big-play ability.

Tyjae Spears Returns In Week 13 In Very Limited Role

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) was able to return to the Titans' backfield after missing Week 12 with a concussion. He played 13 snaps (26.0%) in his first game back but only had one carry for three yards and was not targeted in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Washington Commanders. Spears did also have a kick return, but he wasn't involved enough on offense to be much of a fantasy factor. In better news for Spears, he did not suffer a setback and should be ready for a bigger role next week vs. the Jaguars. In his last fully healthy game, he had 10 touches for 47 rushing yards and four receiving yards. He does have FLEX potential if he gets double-digit touches, but that definitely is not a lock given his minimal role this week.

Tony Pollard Quiet In Bad Game Script

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard was a non-factor for the most part in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Washington Commanders. The Titans fell behind early as the Commanders built a 28-0 first-half lead. Pollard totaled just 35 rushing yards on his eight carries and had a costly early fumble. He did save some value by catching four of six targets for 33 receiving yards, but it was a big letdown after last week's game with 100-plus yards and a rushing touchdown. Despite the down game, Pollard will be in a good spot to get back in the groove as the Titans host the Jaguars in Week 13. He'll be a solid RB2 with RB1 upside in that bounce-back spot next week.
