Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (knee) continues to be a very consistent fantasy asset. Lockett has had a low ceiling this season (currently WR30), but he is a good bet to score double-digit fantasy points in any given week. Lockett is the definition of a bye-week fill-in. He should be on rosters everywhere and should have no problem delivering flex value. Lockett did manage to score his first touchdown of the season in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. If he can continue to score touchdowns at a higher rate, then he could sneak into the WR3 range. Lockett did not practice on Thursday with a knee injury but he was a full participant on Friday and it appears that he will have no limitations in Week 7.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has finished as the WR50 and WR51 in the last two weeks, respectively. After going on a three-game heater, Metcalf has been pretty disappointing for fantasy managers of late. However, fantasy managers should not be worried. Metcalf has earned 18 targets over the last two weeks and has had multiple near-misses with touchdowns. Additionally, quarterback Geno Smith has been unlucky in the touchdown department. Smith leads the league in passing yards but has only thrown exactly one touchdown in every game this season. If the touchdowns start to flow for Smith, then there is no doubt that Metcalf will be a huge beneficiary. This game should result in a lot of points for both sides. If the Seahawks want to remain in this game, then there is no doubt that they will have to score touchdowns. Look for Smith to throw multiple touchdowns in this game and for Metcalf to catch at least one.

Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers has had a relatively safe floor in 2024 due to the Seahawks' ability to move the ball down the field. He has remained relatively accurate, but he has not reached the double-digit fantasy heights since Week 2. That could change in Week 7 when the Seahawks visit the Atlanta Falcons. While the Falcons defense is solid, they have been susceptible to opposing offenses putting up big numbers. The Seahawks should have no issue moving the ball. The only thing that may slow down Myers' fantasy production is that he may be kicking a lot of extra points rather than field goals. If you have a kicker such as Brandon Aubrey on bye this week, you could do worse than Myers in your lineup.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (knee) was added to the team's Week 7 injury report on Thursday after he missed practice with a knee injury. Mid-week additions to the injury report are usually never a good thing, so Lockett's status for the Week 7 contest against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday is firmly up in the air. We'll have a better idea of how serious the 32-year-old's knee injury is based on his status on the final injury report on Friday. If Lockett is unavailable this weekend, second-year wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba will basically become a must-start for fantasy managers in a game that could be a shootout in Atlanta. The emergence of Smith-Njigba has made Lockett more of a volatile, touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in fantasy on a weekly basis. Through six weeks in 2024, Lockett is the WR31 in half-PPR scoring.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf had a poor game on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Metcalf finished the game with three receptions for 48 yards. Metcalf had been cruising this season and entered the game as the WR11 in fantasy. However, the 49ers more or less dominated the Seahawks and limited Metcalf's upside. Metcalf also had a couple of near-miss touchdowns in this game. Unfortunately, Metcalf's performance will set fantasy managers back heading into the weekend. However, there should be no panic or concern over his performance. Quarterback Geno Smith still threw for over 300 yards and Metcalf earned eleven targets. His catch rate was abysmal, but that kind of volume is sure to continue to translate to fantasy points. Metcalf will look to get back on track in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons.
