Demarcus Robinson Remains Risky Flex Option In Deeper Formats

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson remains a risky flex option for three-WR formats heading into a Week 13 tilt against the New Orleans Saints. After catching just three passes during Weeks 10 and 11, Robinson enjoyed a nice bounce-back against the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend when he scored 9.5 PPR points. Even with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp dominating targets, Robinson has found opportunities to succeed, as he has averaged a solid 12.3 PPR points in each game since Week 8. However, he has fallen under double-digit PPR points on three occasions during this span. Facing a weak New Orleans secondary that has allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season, Robinson could have a path to a solid fantasy output, even while operating as the No. 3 option on the team. Given his spot on the depth chart, fantasy managers should view him as a risky flex play in deeper three-WR formats.

Mac Jones One To Avoid In Week 13 Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones is not worth considering in fantasy this week, especially since Trevor Lawrence is expected to return from a shoulder injury. Jones has not played great as a replacement option, not producing much himself in fantasy as well as holding the rest of the offense back. The Texans serve as a decent matchup, but not good enough to prop Jones up to fantasy relevance. Jones has stayed below 150 passing yards, and besides a rushing touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings, has not produced a single touchdown. Jones playing would be worst-case scenario for fantasy managers, as not only would Lawrence be removed from the fantasy equation, but so would essentially all of his weapons. Even if Jones is a last minute start, he is not worth starting in fantasy lineups in Week 13.

Jake Moody Not A Great Play For Week 13 In Buffalo

San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody is in Buffalo for a Week 13 matchup against the Bills. Since missing three field goals in his first game back from a multi-week ankle injury, Moody has been perfect, hitting two-of-two field goal attempts and all three extra-point tries. When confidence is high in San Francisco's offense, Moody is almost as good a fantasy choice as any, but this isn't one of those times. Buffalo's defense is decent, but the real problem is the state of the Niners' offense. Although quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) is expected to play, San Francisco's offensive line will be missing All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams and starting left guard Aaron Banks (concussion). Offensive weapons Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel Sr. have been slumping and a cold, loud, possibly snowy Highmark Stadium isn't exactly the best get-right situation for the Niners -- or for Moody's accuracy for that matter. In most leagues, fantasy managers can do better than Moody in Week 13, doubly true if Purdy were held out again.

George Kittle A Must-Start In Week 13 Despite Tough Situation

If the San Francisco 49ers plan to knock off the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park on Sunday night, the team will likely need tight end George Kittle to continue his run of production. In each game he's played since a disappointing Week 1, Kittle has outperformed half-PPR projections, culminating in last week's six-target, six reception, 90-yard, one-touchdown game in Green Bay. After spending all of 2023 as the epitome of a boom/bust fantasy asset, this season Kittle has flipped the script and become the 49ers' steadiest offensive producer. The Bills are the 13th-best in the league at limiting fantasy tight end half-PPR points per game. With starting quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) on the good side of questionable, San Francisco's offense still has an uphill battle as they'll be missing All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) for the second-straight game and left guard Aaron Banks (concussion). A loud, cold, and maybe snowy environment will also make things tougher offensively. Kittle should considered a mid-high TE1 in Week 13, and a must-start even if Purdy can't go.

Jauan Jennings With Tough Road Matchup In Week 13

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings faces the Bills in Orchard Park for Week 13's Sunday night matchup. Last week in Green Bay -- and catching passes from backup quarterback Brandon Allen -- Jennings led the 49ers in targets with seven, finishing with five receptions for 40 yards. Fortunately, starter Brock Purdy (shoulder) is expected to play in Buffalo, but the encouraging news ends there. Buffalo's pass defense has been the eighth-toughest on fantasy wide receivers and should have a nice home-field advantage as a significant winter storm is expected to bleed into the first quarter. Most significantly, San Francisco will be missing All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and starting left guard Aaron Banks (concussion). Consider Jennings a risky WR3/FLEX with a significant downgrade into WR4 territory if Purdy is held out again.
