Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker hasn't made much of an impact this season, but he has a chance to have a solid day against one of the NFL's worst pass defenses. Vegas will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16, who allow a ludicrous 7.9 yards per pass attempt to opposing teams this season. For context, the gap between JAX and the second-worst team, the Dallas Cowboys, is 0.6 yards. That's the same as the gap between the Cowboys and the 17th ranked pass defense. So the Jags are not only the worst in the league at stopping passers, they're worse by a long shot. With QB1 Aidan O'Connell (knee) expected to return, we could see a few plays where Tucker beats the soft defense deep and AOC chucks it to him downfield. That's worth taking a shot on in very deep fantasy football leagues.

He's becoming an afterthought in this offense, though the offense was mostly an afterthought anyway overall. Without QB Aidan O'Connell (knee) leading the offense, things were mostly ugly in the passing attack, and the Raiders didn't get a lot going on the ground either. It wasn't until the team was down by two scores late in the fourth quarter that they got into a rhythm, but it was too late, and Tucker wasn't much of a part of it. Though he gets an easy matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16, he's still not worth starting moving forward. Tight end Brock Bowers and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers should continue to dominate the receiving work for the team.

His usage wasn't horrible, as he was targeted five times, but he's struggled with consistency all season. With starting quarterback Aidan O'Connell (knee) questionable for Monday's game, it's hard to see that changing in a big way. He's still behind elite tight end Brock Bowers and excellent WR Jakobi Meyers in target priority, and he's more of a gadget player than anything. He has an excellent matchup, though. If O'Connell or backup QB Desmond Ridder end up getting in a rhythm, he could have a decent day. But his floor in fantasy football is extremely low, so outside of deeper leagues, he shouldn't be in starting consideration.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker brought in 2-of-5 targets for seven yards in his team's 28-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. The second-year wideout's production came crashing back to Earth on Sunday after back-to-back viable fantasy performances. It was the eighth time in 13 outings that he's registered two or fewer receptions. The outlook of this offense becomes even more cloudy now as quarterback Aidan O'Connell (knee) was carted off in an air cast and replaced by Desmond Ridder. Tucker plays a high percentage of snaps and has a path to targets in this passing attack. However, the Raiders' offensive woes continue and make him an unreliable option. He'll square off against the visiting Atlanta Falcons next Monday night in Week 15.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker has a nice matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14 and could see added targets with fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers expected to play through an ankle injury on Sunday. Tucker only had a season-low one target in the Week 13 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, but he made the most of it, going for a 58-yard touchdown. The previous week against the Broncos, he caught seven of eight targets for 82 yards, his second-highest receiving total of the year. Tampa's secondary is vulnerable, as they've been a top-10 matchup for receivers in 2024 in terms of PPR points allowed per game. The 23-year-old has been tough to trust in fantasy, as he has three or fewer catches in nine of 12 games. However, he may be worth a dart throw WR4/flex play in deeper leagues this weekend with six teams on bye.
