Allen mixed in behind starter Breece Hall, per usual, in the high-scoring win. While he didn't hold much standalone value in fantasy this season, Allen flashed his talent at times and appears to be slated to remain a quality backup running back in the NFL moving forward. He is a solid player to roster in dynasty leagues moving forward as he is just one injury away from a big role in the New York offense.

He will look to put the finishing touches on his rookie season in a home matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18. The Dolphins have been solid against running backs this season, allowing the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. Allen is unlikely to see much work behind starter Breece Hall this weekend, leaving him as a low-end RB4 option who should not be considered to start in any fantasy formats.

That being said, the Jets have little left to play for heading into the regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins. While nothing is official, the team could opt to shut down Breece Hall, who dealt with a knee injury earlier in the month. If that happens, Allen would have flex value in fantasy leagues that play for championships in Week 18 of the regular season.

He has been a high-end handcuff for much of the season but with Davis starting to siphon away some of the backup touches behind Breece Hall, Allen is a cut candidate in fantasy leagues heading into a Week 17 road matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
