Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that the team will likely give quarterback Will Levis (shoulder) one more week to heal from an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. Nothing is official as of Wednesday, but the Titans appear to be leaning toward giving Mason Rudolph a second straight start in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The 25-year-old needs rest more than anything, although he was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to make the start next week against the visiting New England Patriots. The second-year signal-caller has completed 66.4% of his pass attempts through five games in 2024 but has made plenty of questionable decisions and has only five touchdowns and seven interceptions. The good news is the Titans continue to say that Levis is their starter when fully healthy.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) will not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. The 26-year-old suffered a knee injury during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. Metcalf was originally deemed week-to-week but could still suit up this weekend. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report, as Metcalf will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend. Metcalf has enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and has scored at least 17.0 PPR points in four out of the seven games he has played. If he is able to suit up this weekend, he should be started in all formats as a high-end WR2. If he cannot play, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba should see an increase in targets.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is positioning himself to potentially return for the Week 8 contest on Monday night against the visiting New York Giants, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. Patterson missed his third straight game when he was ruled inactive for the Sunday night win over the New York Jets in Week 7, but the 33-year-old veteran appears to have a shot at returning next Monday if he can make progress in practice this week. Even if he's able to return to face the Giants on Monday night, Patterson will be Pittsburgh's RB3, at best, behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, who saw more involvement in quarterback Russell Wilson's first start on Sunday night. Patterson has only 16 carries for 92 yards and five catches for 34 yards in his first year with the Steelers through four games played.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in the Week 7 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and is now being considered "week-to-week," according to a source. Metcalf left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter and was seen trying to test his knee out on the sideline before eventually shutting it down and heading to the locker room with a trainer. The 26-year-old did some damage for his fantasy managers before leaving, though, catching four passes for 99 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. If Metcalf is unable to play in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, hopefully he'll be ready for a Week 9 tilt against the Los Angeles Rams. Seattle has a bye in Week 10. If Metcalf misses any time, both Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett would immediately become much more attractive in starting fantasy lineups.

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell nailed all three of his field goal attempts and converted on all four of his extra-point tries in a 37-15 victory against the New York Jets. The Steelers offense got off to a slow start but quickly picked up momentum, pushing the ball downfield and generating an abundance of opportunities for Boswell. He has been one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL this season and has provided value for fantasy purposes. If Pittsburgh can continue putting up points at this rate, Boswell will project as a must-start on a weekly basis. He can be confidently deployed against the New York Giants in Week 8.
