George Pickens Should Benefit From New Addition In Week 10

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has flashed massive potential with Russell Wilson at quarterback and will look to make the most of his opportunities in a Week 10 clash with the Washington Commanders. Pittsburgh traded for veteran wideout Mike Williams earlier this week, which could prove to be beneficial for Pickens' fantasy output. At this point in his career, Williams is not expected to earn a significant target share, but he should be able to draw some attention away from Pickens. While Washington has not surrendered a ton of passing yards this season, it is tied for the fifth-most touchdowns given up to receivers through nine weeks. Fantasy managers should continue to feel comfortable deploying Pickens as a WR2 with plenty of upside on Sunday.

Cordarrelle Patterson Removed From Injury Report

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the Washington Commanders. The veteran back appears to be finally ready to make his return to the field. Patterson hasn't played since Week 4, but appears to be ready after getting in full practice sessions this week. Patterson is unlikely to have much fantasy value as the third string option behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren in the backfield. Patterson gives the Steelers depth in the backfield and at kick/punt returner, but isn't a viable fantasy option right now.

Seahawks Won't Be Trading DK Metcalf

There has been speculation that the Seattle Seahawks could consider trading star wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) by Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle will hang onto him. Metcalf suffered an MCL sprain in his knee in Week 7 and has missed two straight contests as a result heading into the team's bye in Week 10. As of right now, the team is optimistic that Metcalf will return in Week 11 to face the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. A trade of Metcalf would have been great news for both receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who blew up in Week 9 against the Rams, and veteran Tyler Lockett. However, it looks like the 26-year-old Metcalf will remain with the team and should be considered the WR1 in Seattle when he returns from his injury. In seven games before getting hurt, Metcalf had 35 catches, 568 yards (16.2 yards per catch) and three touchdowns.

Mike Macdonald "Optimistic" DK Metcalf Returns In Week 11

Per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald is "optimistic" that wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) will return for the team's Week 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Metcalf has missed Seattle's prior two contests with a knee injury he picked up in the 34-14 Week 7 win over the Atlanta Falcons, and with the team on bye in Week 10, he could be ready to roll coming out of it. The 26-year-old was initially dubbed as week-to-week, and it appears that designation was accurate. It's worth noting that Macdonald stopped "short of saying he for sure will be" back, but with another week of rest on tap, Metcalf should have a good chance of doing so. If not, fellow wideouts Tyler, Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will continue to operate as the Seahawks' top two pass catchers in the divisional tilt.

Mason Rudolph Leads Titans To Week 9 Win

Tennessee Titans quarterback Mason Rudolph completed 20 of 33 passes for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 9 win over the New England Patriots. He also took one sack and rushed for 19 yards. Rudolph wasn't perfect, but he had his first game this year with multiple passing touchdowns and has also thrown for over 200 yards three weeks in a row. With that said, Rudolph may lose his starting job if Will Levis (right shoulder) is healthy enough to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10.
