Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will face off against the 2-6 Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. The 26-year-old is the QB2 in fantasy over the past three weeks since Philadelphia's bye and he made a statement last week posting four total touchdowns on the Bengals in Cincinnati. Now, Hurts faces a Jaguars defense that allows the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. The Eagles offense has been firing on all cylinders as of late and Hurts has been turnover-free the past three weeks. While this game could become a route early for the Eagles, Hurts carries a solid scoring floor with what is possibly the highest ceiling of the week due to how good his matchup is.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) will not play in Week 9. Goedert has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the opening frame of their Week 6 tilt against the Cleveland Browns. The 29-year-old has also been unable to practice during this stretch and will now attempt to return to action in Week 10 to face the Dallas Cowboys in a pivotal divisional matchup. Before the injury, Goedert was enjoying a nice start to the season as he averaged a solid 13.5 PPR points per game through the first four weeks Fantasy managers should expect Grant Calcaterra to serve as the top tight end in Philadelphia this weekend and is worth a look in deeper formats as the Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed the 23rd-most PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) didn't suit up for Thursday's practice session. It looks like Goedert is trending towards missing his third straight game after back-to-back absences in practice. If that happens, Grant Calcaterra figures to draw another start, but he has been mostly quiet. Last week, Calcaterra hauled in three receptions for 58 yards, but fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited. The Eagles have better pass catchers and Calcaterra has only seen four targets in the last two games. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option in Week 9.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) was not seen at Wednesday's practice according to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer. The 29-year-old has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the opening quarter of their Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns. If Goedert is unable to return to practice he could be in danger of missing his third-straight game. While Goedert has been sidelined, No.2 tight end Grant Calcaterra has taken the lead and enjoyed a productive game last weekend as he brought in all three of his targets for 58 yards. Calcaterra should be viewed as a high-end TE2 this weekend if he gets the start facing the Jaguars who have allowed the 23rd-most PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott made three field goals from 39, 47, and 49 yards away and converted four extra point attempts during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. This was by far the 29-year-olds best fantasy performance of the season and his only one so far with at least three field goals converted. The Eagles offense has started to gel nicely since the bye and with their upcoming schedule, Elliott is a solid addition for those struggling to get production from their current kicker. He will be highly recommended next week as the Eagles take on a terrible Jacksonville defense.
