Here are the best remaining players at the key fantasy positions (QB, RB, WR, TE) who are still available entering Friday night. Where will Shedeur Sanders go? What about running backs such as Kaleb Johnson and TreVeyon Henderson? Here are the names to watch when Rounds 2 and 3 start tonight at 7 p.m. ET.

Best Remaining Fantasy Football Options on Day 2

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

There clearly was a disconnect between what the public thought of Sanders and how NFL teams view him. Sanders was once thought to be a potential No. 1 pick but still remains available on Day 2. With a plethora of quarterback-needy teams selecting early in Round 2, look for the dynamic Colorado prospect to hear his name quickly on Friday night.

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

Incredibly productive running back who posted 48 total touchdowns in four years at Ohio State, including 19 as a freshman in 2021. Caught 27 passes last season for the National Champion Buckeyes and brings elite speed (4.43) at 5-foot-10, 202 pounds.

Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss

Another skilled Ole Miss wideout is available with 6-foot-2 Tre Harris, who recorded at least 40 receptions in each of his four collegiate seasons. He has prototypical size with solid 4.5 speed and an above-average catch radius.

Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

The bowling ball from Iowa is a big name to watch on Day 2. Johnson’s 224-pound frame led to 23 total touchdowns and 1,537 rushing yards from the Hawkeyes last year, supplemented by 22 receptions. He is a legit fantasy option regardless of the NFL backfield he joins.

Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State

Jaylin Noel carries some of the highest upside of any Day 2 pick, combining elite speed with fantastic college production. His 4.39 speed was paired with a huge catch radius to record three straight seasons of 60 or more receptions. Neol also ranked ninth overall in the nation in receiving yards, despite the presence of an elite receiving teammate.

Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Despite a disappointing senior season that translated to just 61 receptions for 676 yards, Burden still carries 4.42 speed as a legitimate vertical threat in the NFL. He has great lateral quickness and profiles as a dynamic slot receiver for whichever team is fortunate enough to look past his final season at Missouri.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State

In many ways, Higgins is a better all-around prospect than Jaylin Noel. Higgins stands 6-foot-4 with 4.47 speed and a massive catch radius. The concern is his lack of separation ability, but expect this size/speed prospect to get selected early in the evening.

RJ Harvey, RB, UCF

The diminutive Harvey profiles at just 5-foot-8, 205 pounds but posted two straight seasons of 1,400+ yards at UCF. He brings 4.40 speed and totaled over 200 receiving yards in three straight years with the Knights.

DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State

Giddens is flying under the radar as a high-upside running back prospect available on Day 2 of the draft. The Kansas State rusher totaled over 2,500 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns during the past two seasons and has elite speed and burst. Giddens’ agility is limited, but at 21 years old, there is a lot of intrigue for a player who could see fantasy relevance in Year 1.
