We move on to Week 12 of the NFL season. As you’ll see across FTN Bets, there will be numerous pieces of content, as well as our terrific statistical tools available to all subscribers.
If you haven’t already joined our Discord server, I certainly recommend doing so, as our experts generally find time throughout the week for open discussions, as well as to answer any questions you may have. This article will be free to view for all and it will cover a pair of my favorite plays this week on Caesars Sportsbook. With that said, let’s go straight into it.
The Best Week 12 Caesars NFL Player Props
DK Metcalf Over 66.5 Receiving Yards
(-117)
The Seahawks get a Raiders defense ranking dead last in DVOA against the pass this season, and by a pretty substantial margin. While they’ll surely utilize their run game with rookie Kenneth Walker, expect Comeback Player of the Year candidate Geno Smith to air it out. Per our WR/CB tool, DK Metcalf has the 11th-best matchup in Week 12 against Sam Webb. If there were ever a week for Metcalf to break out, it’s going to be in Week 12 in this mouthwatering matchup.
Brandin Cooks Over 51.5 Receiving Yards
(-115)
Everyone is expecting a quarterback change in Houston Sunday, with Kyle Allen likely replacing Davis Mills. To me, this is a pretty big upgrade, as Allen was quite serviceable, at least to his pass catchers during his time with Carolina and Washington. DJ Moore actually averaged 79.2 receiving yards per game in 14 games with Kyle Allen (compared to 61.8 per game in his career without Allen), along with 5.43 receptions and 8.86 targets per game. Terry McLaurin averaged 76.5 receiving yards per game in Allen’s four 2020 starts, along with 6.0 receptions and 9.5 targets per game. Expect Allen to look Cooks’ way often, and he should be able to connect downfield as well, unlike Mills throughout the year.
