Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry has been impressed with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe. "Rare physical talent...maybe the only quarterback who's faster than Lamar," Berry said. The Browns were originally believed to be a lock to take a signal-caller with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, but that sentiment has now changed now that it's fully expected that the Tennessee Titans will take Miami QB Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick. Cleveland isn't sold on Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders and are now expected to take Colorado receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter with the second selection next Thursday night. Cleveland will certainly take a young QB in this year's draft, as veteran Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett are currently atop their depth chart. They have the No. 33 overall pick in the second round, but they could package that pick to move back into the first round to take Milroe.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is a name to watch on the trade market as the 2025 NFL draft approaches, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Interested teams think that the Eagles would be open to future draft picks in exchange for Goedert if they don't receive any 2025 draft capital. The 30-year-old veteran is heading into the final year of his deal in 2025 and could be looking for a new contract. Goedert helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs in convincing fashion, but he had only 42 receptions on 52 targets for 496 yards and two touchdowns in 10 regular-season games in 2024 while missing time with hamstring and knee injuries. His 496 receiving yards were his fewest since his rookie season in 2018. Goedert has been a borderline TE1/2 in fantasy, but a trade away from Philly could actually benefit him.

During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Thursday, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he has not made a decision on his future as he focuses on his personal life, and retirement is still on the table this offseason. The longtime Green Bay Packer and short-term New York Jet has been rumored to land with the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2025 campaign, but it sounds like there is still uncertainty. Rodgers, who threw for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2024, could have success in the right fit, but his prime is clearly past him, and NFL fans will have to wait at least a little bit longer to see what his plans are for the upcoming season. If Rodgers plays in 2025, it would be a surprise to see him firmly on the fantasy football radar in single-QB leagues.

In addition to saying he hasn't ruled out retiring this offseason, free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday that "I'll play for $10 million." Rodgers also said next week's NFL draft won't have any impact on his plans. "I told every single one of the teams I talked to, it ain't about the money," the 41-year-old three-time MVP said. He confirmed he's had conversations with the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Vikes and Giants have moved on, but Steelers president Art Rooney II said the team was "hearing that he's headed in our direction" at the league meetings earlier this month. Rodgers said he's operating on his own timeline while making his personal off-the field life a priority. While he could eventually sign with the Steelers, it certainly sounds like retirement is a very real possibility.

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said that signing quarterback Drew Lock in free agency "doesn't preclude" taking a signal-caller in next week's NFL draft. Schneider also said that he expects a competition for the backup job this summer between Lock and Sam Howell. "Really excited to have all four of those guys but in particular to have Sam Howell and Drew kind of competing for that second spot is a pretty good deal for us," Schneider said. The GM also said Seattle could dress three QBs in 2025, which is something the team has rarely done. Sam Darnold will obviously be the starter after a career year in 2024 with the Minnesota Vikings. Howell ended up playing just 25 snaps behind Geno Smith last year in Seattle, going 14-for-24 with an interception. Both Howell and Lock have proven to be turnover-prone in their time in the NFL. Lock was Smith's backup in Seattle in 2023.
