Because of the pitiful performance, the Broncos come in as one of the heaviest favorites on the slate in this game, with a spread of 10.5 points. Will the Jets finally turn it around in Week 3?

This is clearly tied to his 4-interception performance where he simply looked lost and overwhelmed on the field. If things trend the way they have been, he may not even make it 17 games.
Jets to win the AFC odds
The Jets are currently +20000 to win the AFC on BetMGM and currently aren’t even listed on any other book. They were arguably the longest shot in the AFC before the season started, but that belief has been confirmed after an 0-2 start with an anemic offense and a rookie quarterback who, again, simply does not look NFL ready, while their defense has been bleeding production.

After posting the second-worst record ATS in 2020 (6-10-0), the Jets got 2021 off to a similar start, going 0-2 against the spread. They really haven’t even come close, either, missing the spread by an average margin of 7.5 points through two games. That’s over a full touchdown. Taking on the Broncos who are one of the few undefeated teams in the NFL and have looked great on both sides of the ball, the spread is predictably a large one, sitting at 10.5. Even with a large spread, my confidence in the Jets is minimal. That said, not everyone at FTN feels as uneasy about the Jets as I do.
