Monday Night Football Plays: New Orleans Saints vs. Baltimore Ravens

The first-place Baltimore Ravens will head down to New Orleans to take on the Saints to wrap up Week 9 of the NFL season.

The Ravens are starting to gain form and are trying to take a commanding lead in the AFC North, while the Saints are in possibly the worst division in football and could really use a win to keep pace.

Here are my two best player props for the game this Monday night!

Alvin Kamara Over 62.5 Rushing Yards

(FanDuel -110)

Alvin Kamara has had a decent year by his standard, which is still very good. Yet in the last month of the season, Kamara has turned it on. In three of the last four games, Kamara has topped the 60-yard rushing mark. Surprisingly, the Ravens defense is middle of the road in rush defense. They have shown the ability to give up big numbers to star backs. Nick Chubb went for 91 yards on just 16 carries against the Ravens, and that was in Baltimore with home-field advantage.

Kamara is currently averaging only 4.3 yards per carry, but that has been trending upward in the recent weeks. Along with that, I expect Kamara to get the ball a ton to try to keep the ball away from Lamar Jackson. Andy Dalton is not going to throw the ball 50 times, so expect Kamara to get a lot of carries which should get him over 62.5 rushing yards against an average Ravens run defense.

Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

(BetMGM, +115)

Lamar Jackson is having a nice year overall, but his passing touchdowns have been a little up and down. The Ravens played on Thursday night last week, which means they have had a little extra preparation time. This should allow Lamar and the offense to scheme up a few plays that the Saints defense has not seen on film, especially in the red zone. With Mark Andrews doubtful for the game, I would expect the Saints defense to load up against the run, which should leave 1-on-1 opportunities on the back end for Lamar to take advantage. Lamar has thrown two or more passing touchdowns in four of eight games this year, so taking the plus money on this one has some value.
