Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (ribs) will " probably" be limited at practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell. The veteran suffered a rib injury in the Week 10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he returned to the game and could still play in Week 11. It's early in the week, so fantasy managers with Jones should monitor his status through Friday and leading up to Sunday's contest with the Tennessee Titans. Jones is the overall RB16 in half-PPR formats, averaging 13.5 fantasy points per game. If he's active, he has an RB2 outlook against a Tennessee defense that has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to QBs. If he cannot go, Cam Akers will likely handle the majority of Vikings backfield touches, though Ty Chandler could also be involved.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy (knee) underwent a second knee surgery this week after an uptick in his rehab activity led to swelling, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert. The 21-year-old suffered a season-ending knee injury before his first regular season began, and although this news is not what fantasy managers or Vikings fans want to hear, the second procedure is not expected to change his timeline to return to action. The first-round pick out of Michigan should still be ready for his sophomore campaign, and he is still viewed as the quarterback of the future despite Sam Darnold having a good year until the last few weeks. With weapons like Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson to work with in Kevin O'Connell's offense, McCarthy has an intriguing upside, and this could be a good buy window for him in dynasty formats.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (ribs) could be limited in practice early in the week after injuring his ribs in the Week 10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but head coach Kevin O'Connell said he feels good about having Jones available for this Sunday's Week 11 game at the Tennessee Titans. Jones got X-rays, which came back negative, on his chest in the second half of the game against the Jags but eventually returned and should be fine to play this coming weekend against the Titans. Don't be surprised if the 29-year-old veteran does a whole lot in practice this week, though. He's quietly having a strong season in his first year in Minnesota and is currently the RB15 in half-PPR scoring with 142 carries for 653 rushing yards and two touchdowns, adding 28 receptions for 258 yards and another score.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (chest) appears to have escaped Sunday's 12-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars without a serious injury. Jones was carted to the locker late into the third quarter after sustaining a chest injury, but his x-rays were negative, and he would return to the contest. Fortunately for the 29-year-old, he was able to close out the game, participating in the team's final two drives. He was seen in the locker room after the game, wearing his typical post-game garb (a sombrero), and seemed jovial when speaking with reporters. When asked how he felt, Jones replied, "A little sore, but mentality is everything. I feel strong...it's about these guys in this locker room, and that's why I went back out there." Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his practice status this coming week, but it doesn't seem like he should miss any time. Minnesota will travel to Nissan Stadium to face off against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.

Minnesota Vikings tight end Josh Oliver caught 4-of-6 targets for 52 yards in the team's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10. The 27-year-old now has back-to-back weeks with at least four receptions and 50 yards, ironically the first two contests for which teammate T.J. Hockenson has been active. Oliver's yardage total was second on the team to his fellow tight end (who was superb in his own right with an 8/72 line), and the six targets were good enough for the same mark. Whether this kind of usage is prescriptive moving forward remains to be seen, but Jacksonville did an excellent job clamping down on the Vikings' wideouts in this one. Minnesota will get another tough test in Week 11 when they line up against the Tennessee Titans.
