The NFL season is coming down the stretch, as we’ve hit the playoff push! As you’ll see across FTN, there will be numerous pieces of content, as well as our terrific statistical tools available to all subscribers. If you haven’t already joined our Discord server, I certainly recommend doing so, as our experts generally find time throughout the week for open discussions, as well as to answer any questions you may have.
This article will cover a trio of my favorite first-look NFL bets for this week’s slate of games. All three plays will additionally be located in our Bet Tracker, but all the analysis surrounding each play can be found below.
Tyreek Hill 60 Receiving Yards
(-118, FanDuel Sportsbook)
I’m going to continue buying low on Tyreek Hill. Hill finished with 130 receiving yards in Week 1 before Tua Tagovailoa suffered an injury in Week 2. Once Tagovailoa returned in Week 8 against the Cardinals, Hill has averaged 60 receiving yards on the nose, per game. He has additionally gone over this number in four of six games since Week 8 (so five of seven Tagovailoa has started and finished in total). This week, the Dolphins will get a Jets team likely without Sauce Gardner, who is listed as doubtful. While Gardner hasn’t been his elite self in 2024, this still represents a significant matchup upgrade for Hill against a Jets secondary that allows the eighth-most air yards per game.
