Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. played the role of hero for his team in Super Bowl LVIII, reeling in the game-winning touchdown from three yards out to defeat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22. Hardman pulled in each of his three targets for 57 yards in Sunday's big game, also coming down with a 52-yard bomb to get the Chiefs into a goal-to-go during the second quarter. After playing just one snap in the AFC Championship win over the Baltimore Ravens, the 25-year-old stepped up as a deep threat when it mattered most for a Chiefs offense desperate for playmaking down the field all year long. Though he authored quite a feel-good story going from a New York Jets castoff to catching a championship-winning TD, Hardman's Super Bowl heroics are unlikely to make him worth rostering in the majority of 2024 fantasy drafts. Whether it's back with K.C. or another squad, the former Pro Bowl kick returner should find a home next season.

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that the team intends to sign quarterback Jordan Love to a long-term contract extension this offseason. Love had a successful first year as Green Bay's starter in 2023 and led the team to the Divisional Round of the playoffs after upsetting the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round. The 25-year-old signal-caller finished the regular season by completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 4,159 yards with 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a 96.1 passer rating. In the last eight games of the regular season, he completed 70.3% of his passes for 2,150 yards, 18 TDs and one interception. Love's performance was even more impressive, considering the lack of experience his receiving corps had. Entering the 2024 season, Love will have low-end QB1 appeal for fantasy managers as he looks to build on his first full season as a starter in the NFL.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has played in just 23 of 34 possible games since being selected by the organization in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, mostly due to lower-body injuries. This season, the speedster was held out of eight games because of lingering hamstring issues. According to Ryan Wood of USA Today, Watson is planning to undergo offseason tests to understand why he's had so many hamstring injuries. On resolving the issue, Watson said "I'm not going to say it's my fault, but it's my body, so I need to take accountability for it." The 24-year-old has flashed big-play ability when healthy, averaging 15.0 yards per reception to start his career. However, his inability to be available has been an issue for him and the Packers' young offense. If he can stay healthy, he has plenty of fantasy football upside in 2024, especially now that Jordan Love looks like a high-end franchise quarterback.

Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave caught three of four targets for 14 yards during the team's 21-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The rookie actually had fewer targets than backup and fellow rookie Tucker Kraft but ended the night with more receiving yards. It brings an end to a solid rookie campaign from Musgrave. While he missed a six-game stretch at the end of the year due to a kidney laceration, the 23-year-old stepped right back into the starting role when he returned and immediately impacted the team's Wild Card win over the Dallas Cowboys. With so many mouths to feed in Green Bay, Musgrave will be tough to trust in fantasy as the lone option for any manager. However, he will remain a weekly streaming candidate off the waiver wire and carries more value in dynasty formats as a part of one of the best up-and-coming offenses in the league.

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft caught three of six targets for nine yards and a touchdown during the team's 21-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Starting tight end Luke Musgrave was slightly more productive in the yardage department Saturday night, but Kraft had the score that put the Packers ahead 21-14 in the third quarter. That score ended up being the final one of the night for Green Bay. Kraft did an admirable job filling in for Musgrave over the back half of the regular season and proved that he will still demand some sort of target share when both are healthy. However, unless something were to happen to Musgrave, Kraft would be nothing more than a waiver wire option in daily fantasy formats and a bench stash in dynasty leagues in 2024.
