Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle was a bright spot on Monday night in the 27-20 loss to Cincinnati. Dowdle carried the ball 18 times for a career-high 131 yards while also catching a pass for 10 yards. Despite running behind a makeshift offensive line, Dowdle shined for the Cowboys. The 26-year-old has now rushed for 731 yards on the year. He projects as a high-end RB2 the rest of the season and is an automatic start in Week 15 against Carolina.

According to head coach Dave Canales, Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after re-tearing his right knee in Sunday's 22-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL Insider Tom Pelissero reported the news. Wow. What an unfortunate end to a very short rookie season. Brooks will now again begin the long road to recovery. Oddly enough, he tore his ACL in college around the same time last year, so maybe we can expect him to follow the same schedule as he did this season. It's a massive disappointment after it appeared he was finally finding his legs in the NFL. For now, teammate Chuba Hubbard should regain his massive touch load from the beginning of 2024 and continue to be a strong weekly play.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble caught just one pass for three yards in their 22-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a quick, outbreaking route on 4th-and-goal that gave the veteran his first touchdown of the year. Tremble has battled various injuries to his hamstring, back, and head this year, so finding pay dirt in Week 14 was extra meaningful. Still, with rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) returning this week, Tremble's value moving forward is questionable. Tremble is mainly an option in deep leagues when the Panthers host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15.

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette saw his struggles catching the ball reach a new low in their 22-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Legette caught just two of his eight targets for 39 yards in Sunday's loss, registering his lowest catch percentage of the season. The worst of those empty targets came on a deep post with under a minute remaining. Bryce Young laid a ball out that would've put Legette on the goal line, but he could not hang on to it, the ball crashing along with the Panthers' upset dreams. While Carolina takes on a battered Dallas squad in Week 15, Legette likely won't be a legitimate fantasy option outside of deep leagues for the remainder of the year.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen finished with nine receptions on 11 targets for 102 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14. The veteran has been money since returning from a hamstring injury in Week 13, totaling 258 yards and a touchdown over his last three games. He has been quarterback Bryce Young's most consistent and reliable target, and Sunday was no different. His key moment in this game came on an improbable 4th-and-2 reception off a tipped ball, saving a drive that eventually resulted in a touchdown. Thielen remains a surprise late-season flex option as the Dallas Cowboys travel to Carolina in Week 15.
