Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer was ejected from Sunday's matchup with the Raiders. Both teams were involved in a scuffle during the fourth quarter. However, Palmer and Jack Jones were the players who got the boot. Palmer finished the game by catching two of his four targets for 15 yards. While he'll likely be disciplined, his availability for Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers isn't expected to be a concern for many fantasy managers.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (hand) was injured during Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals. The signal-caller injured his left hand. However, he didn't seem too concerned, although he will likely get an X-ray as a precaution. Despite the ailment, Allen had had a solid game, throwing for 232 yards and two touchdowns off 18-for-23 passing. He added nine carries for 39 yards and two more scores. At any rate, there should be an update on his health soon. But an injury to Allen's non-throwing hand won't necessarily keep him off the field when the Bills meet the Dolphins for Thursday Night Football. Still, if he can't suit up for that one, Mitchell Trubisky would likely take over under center.

Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass is worth starting in most leagues ahead of Week 1 versus the Arizona Cardinals. Although Bass is coming off a down year in which he made just 82.8 percent of his field goals and tied his career-low for extra point attempts, he's still someone worth considering for lineups given the strong state of Buffalo's offense. In particular, Bass could find himself busy this week against a Cardinals defense that allowed the second-most points per game to opposing offenses in 2023. The 27-year-old kicker is still a top-12 fantasy option this week.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Curtis Samuel (toe) was removed from the Week 1 injury report on Friday and will be active on Sunday in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Samuel has been dealing with turf toe but was set for a full practice session earlier this week on Wednesday, so his status for the regular-season opener was never really in much doubt. There is plenty of opportunity for the 28-year-old in Buffalo's receiving corps this year after Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis departed in the offseason, but tight end Dalton Kincaid and receiver Khalil Shakir are expected to be quarterback Josh Allen's top targets in the passing game. It still leaves opportunity for Samuel, but he'll be competing with impressive rookie Keon Coleman for WR3 duties early on. Entering Week 1 on Sunday against Arizona, Samuel is best left on benches as a WR5/flex play.

The Buffalo Bills completely revamped their wide receiver room over the offseason, with one of the notable additions being Curtis Samuel. The do-it-all wideout has been good for at least 50 receptions in every season since 2019 (excluding a season-ending injury early in 2021) and a handful of carries out of the backfield. A turf toe injury has kept Samuel from fully participating in training camp and building a rapport with new quarterback Josh Allen. He's practicing in full leading up to the matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Still, there's too much uncertainty in target distribution in upstate New York. Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Samuel are all competing to be the top dog in Buffalo. Samuel is worth a bench spot in fantasy football while we wait to see who Allen favors to target, but shouldn't be started in the meantime.
