Hendrickson was the Saints’ third-round pick in their vaunted 2017 draft class. He accumulated 20 sacks in his four years in New Orleans, playing 12-plus games in three of those years. He was a first-team All Pro in 2020.
Bengals bolster defense, sign Trey Hendrickson
Fantasy slant: Hendrickson exploded in his fourth season in New Orleans. Hendrickson finished second last season in sacks with 13.5. He was also tied for 12th among all defensive ends with 11 quarterback hits. The Bengals have nowhere to go but up in regards to their pass rush. Cincinnati ranked 32nd in adjusted sack rate (3.7%). Hendrickson's arrival helps soften the blow of losing Carl Lawson to the Jets. — Derek Brown
