Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Cleveland Browns according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Flowers was sidelined during practice earlier in the week, but returned in a limited capacity on Friday which is a promising sign for his availability. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the weekend. The 24-year-old has eclipsed 18.0 PPR points on three occasions this season and averaged 66.8 yards per game through Weeks 1 through 6. If Flowers is able to play, he should be viewed as a solid WR2. If not, Rashod Bateman should operate as the primary wideout, and be viewed as a WR3 with upside.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will make his team debut against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. Head coach Andy Reid officially confirmed that the veteran wideout will play this weekend. The Chiefs offense has been crushed by injuries, so they made a move and acquired Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins has been quiet with only 15 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown this season, but should see an immediate boost playing with Patrick Mahomes. It's worth noting that it's a new system and playbook for Hopkins, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to be fantastic right away. He should be a fine flex option against a struggling Raiders defense.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) returned to practice on Friday according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. This is a great sign for the 24-year-old as he did not participate in any practice sessions earlier in the week. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he may carry an injury designation into the weekend, depending on his participation level during Friday's practice. If Flowers were to sit out on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, Rashod Bateman should be expected to operate as the top wideout. He would become a viable WR3 option facing a Cleveland secondary who has allowed the 24th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday after tweaking his ankle in Monday night's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Flowers injured his ankle in the first half on Monday and quickly came back into the game, but he was barely involved after that, finishing with just one catch on one target for 11 yards while carrying the ball one time for a pickup of 19 yards in the 41-31 victory. The 24-year-old pass-catcher's status for Week 8 against the division-rival Cleveland Browns is now firmly up in the air, and if he doesn't return to practice on Friday, he'll likely be ruled out. Flowers has sandwiched two one-catch performances around back-to-back 100-yard games and has been boom/bust for fantasy managers. If he's unavailable against Cleveland, both Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor will have higher fantasy ceilings.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Flowers picked up the injury in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Given his quick and "twitchy" style of play, an ankle injury could seriously dampen Flowers' outlook this week if he is able to suit up. Flowers has been boom or bust in 2024. He has scored at least 19 fantasy points in three games and 11.1 or less points in every other game. The Ravens offense can win through the air and on the ground which has affected Flowers week-to-week. Flowers also now has legitimate target competition with the reemergence of tight end Mark Andrews and the emergence of wide receiver Rashod Bateman as a downfield threat. With the Ravens headed into a Week 8 matchup against the lowly Cleveland Browns, Flowers could have a chance for a nice game. The once-stout Browns defense is now No. 27 against opposing wide receivers in fantasy. Keep an eye on Flowers' status as the week progresses and stash Bateman just in case.
