Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who is the consensus top receiver prospect in this year's NFL draft, will not work out at his school's pro day on Wednesday. Harrison also chose not to participate in this year's NFL scouting combine in February in Indianapolis. He likely believes is college tape is the best things for teams to use to evaluate him for the upcoming draft, which is probably true. Running a slow 40-yard dash time could allow the other top-tier receivers in this year's draft to compare more favorably next to Harrison. As of right now, the 21-year-old wideout is projected to come off the board fourth overall to the Arizona Cardinals next month. Regardless of where Harrison lands, he should immediately be in play for fantasy managers in his rookie season in 2024.

The Arizona Cardinals signed former Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas to a three-year deal worth $8.25 million on Tuesday with upside for the deal to be worth $10.5 million, according to a source. Dallas was taken by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft out of the University of Miami in Florida and he ran for 468 yards and four touchdowns on 112 rushing attempts in his four years with the team. The 25-year-old also added 61 catches for 396 yards and another score in 61 games (two starts). He will remain in the NFC West and is currently listed as the team's No. 3 RB on the depth chart behind James Conner and Emari Demercado. Dallas will likely make his biggest impact as a return man on special teams, leaving him no fantasy appeal in most setups.

The New England Patriots plan to sign veteran free-agent quarterback Jacoby Brissett this week, according to a source. When the teams eventually agree to terms, Brissett is expected to be added for one year and $8 million. It's a reunion in New England for the 31-year-old signal-caller, who was originally taken in the third round by the Patriots in 2016. For now, Brissett will be atop New England's QB depth chart, although a rookie QB that the team takes with the third overall pick in the upcoming draft could quickly unseat Brissett if he proves worthy. Brissett has bounced around the league and has played for five different teams in his eight NFL seasons. He had his best year in 2019 with the Colts, throwing for 2,942 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions in 15 starts. At best, Brissett is going to be a low-end QB2 option in superflex leagues if he's the Patriots starter in 2024.

The Arizona Cardinals tendered exclusive rights free-agent wide receiver Greg Dortch on Thursday. Dortch has flown under the radar in recent seasons but has produced quality numbers for the Cardinals when pushed into the starting lineup due to injuries in front of him. The 25-year-old has a chance at beating out Rondale Moore to be Arizona's starting slot receiver in the 2024 season as the Cardinals look to retool their pass-catching corps. Dortch caught 24 balls for 280 yards and two touchdowns last season and could be a deep sleeper in fantasy if he's able to unseat Moore in the upcoming year.

The New England Patriots have "real" interest in Washington Commanders impending free-agent quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The Patriots are expected to have competition for him if they sign him, but offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt loved coaching Brissett with the Cleveland Browns in 2022, and the Patriots view the veteran signal-caller as a great locker-room guy who is all about football. In addition to adding a veteran QB like Brissett, the Pats are expected to take a rookie QB with the third overall pick in this year's draft. The 31-year-old was also a third-round pick by the Pats in 2016. He appeared in 16 games (11 starts) in 2022 with Cleveland and threw for 2,608 yards, 12 TDs and six interceptions while completing 64% of his passes. At best, Brissett would be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he's signed by New England and starts games in 2024.
