As either Zac Graham or I will continue to do all throughout the NBA season, I will provide you with my three favorite options on SuperDraft DFS for the slate at hand. In this case, we have seven games on the New Year’s Eve slate.
Desmond Bane, Memphis Grizzlies (vs. SAS)
Score multiplier: 1.45x
Despite Ja Morant getting all the buzz upon his return, his teammate Desmond Bane has been just as impressive in the absence of Dillon Brooks. Over the last three games without Brooks, Bane ranks second on the Grizzlies in usage rate (26.9%) while leading the entire team in minutes per game (34.7) and posting an elite offensive rating of 121.3.
With a 1.45x multiplier and legitimate 30-raw-point upside, Bane clocks in as one of my favorite mid-tier options in a pace-up spot against a team without their best guard defender (Dejounte Murray)
Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers (vs. ATL)
Score multiplier: 1.6x
Kevin Love has been one of the best point-per-minute producers in the entire NBA this season, and we saw it yet again as he drew a start Thursday. This play is somewhat contingent on whether Jarrett Allen suits up, but even if he doesn’t, Love should be primed for his usual 20-25 minutes where he wouldn’t be entirely ruled out.
He’s contributed in every category this season, averaging 23.38 points, 12.71 rebounds and 3.43 assists per-36-minutes this season with a 24.2% usage rate. His 1.32 SuperDraft-points-per-minute rate makes him an elite option even with the suppressed playing time and the absence of Darius Garland only opens up more offensive opportunities for the veteran big.

Omer Yurtseven, Miami Heat (@ HOU)
Score multiplier: 1.55x
Center is typically a rather loaded position on SuperDraft, and the dual-position eligibility certainly helps. For players without that luxury, however, choices are going to have to be made. On Friday, that choice is easy; it’s Omer Yurtseven. As noted in my First Look article:

“Yurtseven has been a bit of a revelation for the Heat frontcourt this season in the absence of the aforementioned players. He’s averaged 1.13 SuperDraft points per minute in this scenario and priced with a 1.55x multiplier on SuperDraft on Friday, he makes for another elite mid-tier target.”
