According to Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune, Utah Jazz centerWalker Kessler(shoulder) is available for Thursday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man missed two straight games due to a left shoulder contusion. Kessler is averaging 11.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, shooting a career-high 73 percent from the floor. Utah has been shorthanded during the last few games, but John Collins (illness) will also return after three consecutive contests this evening.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man is in danger of missing a third straight game due to a left shoulder contusion. The Jazz have been shorthanded over the last few games with John Collins (illness) also sidelined. That means, Drew Eubanks, Kyle Filipowski, and Brice Sensabaugh have all been asked to play bigger roles in the rotation. That might happen again with Kessler and Collins both listed as questionable. If they sit, Sensabaugh probably has the highest ceiling but all three could make for low-end streaming options.
The Utah Jazz announced centerWalker Kessler(shoulder) will be unavailable for Tuesday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. Kessler will miss his second game in a row after suffering a shoulder contusion on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies. The young big man posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and two blocks in 29 minutes on the court. While Kessler andJohn Collins (illness) are both out,Kyle Filipowski will likely see some added opportunities at center. During Filipowski's last outing on Monday against the Pelicans, he grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds for his first double-double this season.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (shoulder) has been downgraded from questionable to out on Monday and will not face the Milwaukee Bucks. The young big man suffered a shoulder contusion in their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies after seeing the court for 29 minutes and posting 11 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and two blocks. While Kessler and John Collins (illness) are both out, Kyle Filipowski will likely see some added opportunities at center. Across 20 minutes against the Grizzlies, he registered 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (rest) won't play on Friday in New Orleans. The 2022 No. 22 overall pick didn't suit up for Sunday's narrow win over the Brooklyn Nets for the same reason, opening the door for Drew Eubanks to get the start and finish with eight points, nine boards, and three blocks. With John Collins (hip) and Micah Potter (illness) also ruled out for Friday's contest, Eubanks is in line for another start, giving him streaming potential for fantasy managers. He'll also be an enticing DFS value option, even if he comes off the bench.
