Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will not take the court on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans while he deals with some plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The veteran combo guard hasn't played in their last six games after only being able to register three minutes of playing time against the Miami Heat on January 4. Collin Sexton is back in the lineup on Friday, but Keyonte George and Isaiah Collier could be good streaming options in deeper leagues. The former posted 26 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two steals in their last game against the Hornets.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will not rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's clash against Charlotte. The veteran scorer was recently diagnosed with a torn left plantar fascia, and the injury will keep him sidelined for a sixth consecutive game. On Jan. 6, it was announced that Clarkson was scheduled to be re-evaluated in two weeks, so fantasy managers can expect news on his condition and potential return early next week. The Jazz have experienced several backcourt injuries lately, giving Isaiah Collier and Svi Mykhailiuk chances to shine. Collier produced a game-high 23 points in Sunday's 112-111 overtime win against Brooklyn, while Mykhailiuk provided 16 points on 4-for-7 shooting from deep.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will remain sidelined for Saturday's game versus the Suns. The veteran has had a decent 2024-25 campaign, averaging 16.0 points and 3.8 assists. But he's already missed 14 games this season, including the previous three contests because of Plantar Fasciitis in his left foot. Utah could have used him in the lineup on Saturday, considering the Jazz also won't have John Collins (hip) and Keyonte George (heel). There's also a chance Johnny Juzang (hand) and Brice Sensabaugh (illness) won't suit up. With that in mind, Collin Sexton and Lauri Markkanen, combining for 46 points in a recent meeting with the Miami Heat, are must-start fantasy options. Isaiah Collier and Patty Mills could get more action. Although Collier and Mills could see an uptick in production, both players are risky for any fantasy setup, including for those participating in DFS contests.
Utah Jazz point guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will not suit up for Thursday's contest against the Miami Heat. The last time he played, Clarkson had to leave the court due to a foot injury and played only three minutes against the Miami Heat on January 4th. Later in the game, the Jazz announced that Clarkson injured his left plantar fascia. In 22 games played this year, Clarkson is averaging 16 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Clarkson is set to miss upcoming games against the Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets. Patty Mills will see more work in Clarkson's absence.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) had an MRI on Monday that confirmed a torn left plantar fascia, and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to Sarah Todd of the Deseret News. Clarkson has battled foot issues much of the season and has played just 22 games with three starts. He has been effective when available, producing 16.0 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 25.5 minutes per game. While he is out, Collin Sexton and Brice Sensabaugh should each get big fantasy boosts. Sensabaugh was the team's first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has caught fire with 37 and 27 points in his last two games. The second-year wing should get plenty of action in the second unit for as long as Clarkson is sidelined.
