Utah Jazz forward John Collins (ankle) will miss his fifth consecutive game on Friday while he continues to suffer from a sprained left ankle. The Jazz have fully embraced the youth movement as they head towards better odds in the draft lottery. Since Lauri Markkanen (personal) is also out, Walker Kessler and Kyle Filipowski will likely remain in the starting five like their last game. Filipowski is available in a wider range of leagues and just posted 21 points, four rebounds, and two assists in their last game against the Washington Wizards.

The Utah Jazz have announced that forward John Collins (ankle) has suffered a lateral ankle sprain in his left ankle and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 27-year-old has battled a multitude of injuries this season and appeared in 40 of a possible 66 games so far. The earliest he would be back is March 27 against the Houston Rockets, so Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski will likely see a sizeable boost in minutes in the meantime. Both have been inconsistent, but could be used in short streaming spurts. Sensabaugh averages 9.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while Filipowski has posted 8.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Utah Jazz forward John Collins (back) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Collins is set to sit out for the sixth time of the last seven games. The Jazz aren't exactly playing for much at this point, so they have little incentive to play their starters right now. That being said, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski figure to continue playing significant roles in the rotation. Both players are worth a look as streaming options while the Jazz are shorthanded. Filipowski has been the better option between the two forwards lately.

Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) will not be in action on Monday against the Detroit Pistons. Following a three-game absence, Collins was back in the lineup on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he will miss a second straight contest on Monday. The Jazz also remain without Lauri Markkanen (back), which opens up additional playing time for Kenyon Martin Jr, Brice Sensabaugh, and Kyle Filipowski. The latter has posted three double-doubles in the past four games, while Sensabaugh finished among Utah's top scorers in the last game with 21 points. Martin Jr's production has been inconsistent, making him the least appealing fantasy option out of these players.

Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) will return to action in Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is ready to rejoin the fun after missing three games due to a back problem. Kenyon Martin Jr. and Brice Sensabaugh may see their roles reduced due to Collins' return. Collins has enjoyed a fine campaign in Salt Lake City, averaging 18.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks. He began the season as a bench contributor but has been a starter for each of his last 28 appearances.
