New York Knicks forward/center Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) is questionable for Wednesday's showdown with Orlando. He's missed the last two games because of a sore Achilles. With the All-Star break on the horizon, the team could play it safe by keeping the 25-year-old off the floor. At any rate, if Hartenstein sits out another game, Precious Achiuwa, coming off a 17-rebound outing on Monday in the loss to Houston, is worth starting in all fantasy leagues.
New York Knicks forward/center Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Houston Rockets. He's battling Achilles soreness, most recently keeping him off the floor for Saturday's loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Knicks desperately need him back underneath the rim. However, if Hartenstein can't return, Taj Gibson could remain in the starting lineup. That said, Gibson failed to score on Saturday in 19 minutes, so he's not exactly an attractive alternative for fantasy managers needing to fill a hole in their starting lineups.
New York Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) won't play on Saturday versus Indiana. The seven-footer is out with a sore left Achilles after being limited to 15 minutes of action in the previous game against Dallas. Precious Achiuwa has become a key cog for the Knicks due to various frontcourt injuries and is set to feature heavily again on Saturday. Taj Gibson and Jericho Sims (illness) also have a chance to get extra work, but they typically don't make a large impact in games. The latter is also considered questionable for Saturday's clash.
New York Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein is still playing on a minutes restriction. Hartenstein said after Monday's blowout win over the Charlotte Hornets that he had a 25-minute limit, but he felt good after the game. The 25-year-old big man has been restricted to 16 minutes in each of his last two contests since returning from a two-game absence with left Achilles tendinopathy. The Knicks re-added Taj Gibson on a 10-day contract on Tuesday for frontcourt depth in the aftermath of Julius Randle's (shoulder) injury.
New York Knicks forward/center Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) is questionable for Saturday's game versus the Miami Heat. The former Clipper is battling left Achilles Tendinopathy, an injury that's kept him out of the lineup for the Knicks' previous two contests. Head coach Tom Thibodeau stated Thursday night that Hartenstein felt "a lot better." However, he remains in danger of missing his third consecutive game. If Hartenstein can't suit up, Jericho Sims, who's been taking Hartenstein's spot in the lineup, will likely remain with the first five. Unfortunately, Sims isn't a reliable fantasy option on the scoring end, although he's proficient on the glass. The same can be said for Precious Achiuwa.
