Orlando Magic guard/forward Caleb Houstan will get an opportunity to run with the starters on Sunday versus Indiana. The 21-year-old will replace Anthony Black. Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley has been forced into tinkering with his starting unit due to Jalen Suggs' (thigh) absence. Houstan will make his 10th start of the campaign. His previous efforts in the role haven't gone too well, as the second-year player has struggled to hit his shots. He has been limited to 9.0 points on 35.6 percent shooting while collecting 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

Washington Wizards forward/center Richaun Holmes (toe) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Sunday's game against Miami. The 30-year-old exits the lineup after putting in a pair of strong performances, having earned extended playing time due to the absence of Marvin Bagley III (back). With no alternatives left at the center position, Kyle Kuzma could be looking at a heavy shift as a small-ball five on Sunday in a tough matchup against a defensively solid team.

Detroit Pistons guard/forward Quentin Grimes (knee) is on track to end a four-game absence on Monday versus Charlotte. He has been listed as probable for the game after being kept off the court by a right knee issue. Before getting hurt, Grimes was able to suit up four times for the Pistons, averaging 5.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 19.8 minutes. With Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey ruling the backcourt in Detroit, Grimes faces an uphill battle in an attempt to earn playing time.

Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Bryce McGowens (knee) has been listed as out for Monday's matchup against Detroit. The 21-year-old will miss a second consecutive game due to right knee inflammation. Playing in his second year in the Association, McGowens has posted 5.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15.8 minutes across 50 games. The former Nebraska Cornhusker has joined a lengthy list of injuries in Charlotte, with Seth Curry (ankle), Cody Martin (ankle), Mark Williams (back), and LaMelo Ball (ankle) all currently out of the lineup. The injuries have given Vasilije Micic and Grant Williams opportunities in the starting unit, while Davis Bertans has started to lead the second unit. He's averaging 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists for the month.

Charlotte Hornets guard Tre Mann (groin) isn't expected to play on Monday versus the Pistons. The 23-year-old has played well in his 11 games in Charlotte, averaging 11.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.6 steals. But he's missed the Hornets' previous two contests because of a groin strain. Nevertheless, with Mann heading toward another absence, Vasilije Micic could be in line for another opportunity to start. Micic had a double-double with five rebounds against the Nets on Saturday, so he should remain in nearly all fantasy lineups if Mann doesn't suit up.
