There was some concern that James would sit this game out with the Lakers having such a favorable matchup already against the struggling Wizards. Despite that, James is active and expected to have his normal workload. Fantasy managers can feel safe plugging James back into their lineups on Thursday.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (quad) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The stud forward will sit this game out while he continues to nurse his quad injury. The Grizzlies aren't competitive right now, so it's not shocking to see them being cautious with their star forward. Trey Jemison has been inactive lately with Jackson back in the mix. He could become a relevant player with the Grizzlies still fairly banged up heading into Friday's game.

Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson will remain in the starting five ahead of Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets. It was initially reported that Delon Wright would move into the starting five on Thursday. The team has decided to make a last second change and will start Robinson instead. Wright figures to absorb the primary backup guard minutes behind Robinson. However, he won't be a great streaming option with Robinson ahead of him during Thursday's contest. Fantasy managers should double check their lineups ahead of tip-off.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's encounter with the Sacramento Kings. The 22-year-old tweaked his ankle in Tuesday's win over the San Antonio Spurs and carried an injury designation ahead of Wednesday's meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies. However, he still played and scored a game-high 34 points in 40 minutes. At any rate, it would certainly be surprising if Edwards doesn't play, but anything is possible. If he can't suit up, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, averaging 9.3 points, 3.2 assists, and 1.1 steals in 16 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, would warrant streaming consideration in all formats.

Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (knee) is questionable heading into Friday's matchup with Minnesota. He suffered a knee contusion on Monday night in the loss to Miami and was ruled out before Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. Davion Mitchell got the start in that one. However, he had just five points, three assists, and a steal in 16 minutes. On the other hand, Chris Duarte scored 18 points in 26 minutes, meaning he'll see plenty of attention from fantasy managers if Fox can't suit up.
